I heard that almost exactly.

I hope to see it Friday. If not then, I don't know when I'll see it.

i wouldn't say it was better, but it wasn't worse either. i find them to be equal. a little too much comedy for my tastes, but still a decent sequel none the less

Just got back from seeing it. I thought it was better than the first. The ending of the 1st left a bad taste in my mouth. I like happy endings. :D
Seriously, go see it if you haven't. Secrets revealed and the cards have been layed out for the next villain. I must say this is the first time i've heard a crowd clap at the ending of a movie. That's how much everyone loved it.

exactly...I would expect there to be more quips by webhead than in the first.

If you can get past the sappy love story, DOC-OC was played well with really good special effects, IMO. They did a great job on the character. (Except the bit was a little overly done by the end.)

But would someone in the movie industry please leave the love stories out of these types of movies. The last good super hero I saw without a love interest was the T-Rex in Jurassic Park.

BTW, MJ is a self-absorbed tramp and I lost all respect for her.

I agree, Alfred Molina did a very good job while Kirsten Dunst really had an all-around poor showing.

The most ovbious villain could very well be Harry Osborn but don't forget Jameson's son (when he goes to Mars and bring Venom with him) or Parker's teacher, Connor (Crock)
Loved the movie because they (Stan Lee and Raimi) kept the comic story intact. Very well done unlike others superheroes.

Aye, I could easily see them using Harry Osborn as the GG2 in the next one. I just hope they do not fall into the same trap that Batman fell into and put too many villians into each movie (as well as cast only super-stars to play them). Maybe introduce Hobgoblin with Harry also.

Arnold as Mr. Freeze is/was one of the WORST castings I have ever seen in my life. The physical spendor of "the Arnold" was the exact opposite of Mr. Freeze, and one of the motivating causes of him even becoming Mr. Freeze in the first place. Nerdy geek with beatiful spouse, I could not see Arnold's Mr. Freeze having too many problems getting women. hehe

Every great movie in the history of the world includes a love story - especailly the action movies.

The Godfather didn't have a love story. And no, the Michael and Kay sideline wasn't a love story, she was just there to bear his children. I suppose Michael's love for his family could be the love story, but he did have his brother whacked in GFII

I thought the second movie was cheesy. They shouldn't have revealed Peter Parker to MJ. The first was much better

Then The Godfather is obviously not a great movie.

You have to see both Spiderman movies to get the full impact of the love story.

So if the Godfather had a Michael-Kay-Sonny love triangle angle, it would have been great? Or if, say, Don Corleone offed Barzini to prove his love to Mrs. Corleone? Maybe a Clemenza-Tessio love angle?

And yeah, I saw both, it was unavoidable. Nerd guy pines for high school hottie. Could have her in a second if he only revealed his true idetity to her. Been done before.

Sorry, It's following the original story. If you were a Spiderman fan, you'd know that. My six year old turned to me during the movie after and MJ line and said, "Finally she calls him Tiger. She always calls him Tiger."

she sure does and im glad sam raimi has decided to stay true to the comic, i still wouldve liked to see peter getting bitten by a radiactive spider instead of a alien mutant or whatever.
having the web cartridges made for interesting stories in the comics esp when he ran out

Why not? Eventually she finds out who he really is anyway.

You know, I don't even know how to answer that.

I know you don't. Getting you to admit you're wrong is an achievement Chimp could only dream about. :iwon:

not really, she goes out with Harry for awhile and Spiderman and her have a connection but not her and Peter Parker
