It's looking good, gentlemen. Notice they have now added the throwing motions that the qbs have. Ie. Philip rivers-Sidearm throw.

Not impressed at all. Not only is ESPN have very "cartoonish" graphics, but they don't even look that good to begin with.

Are you serious? Madden is the king of cartoon graphics.

But you were talking about graphics, not gameplay. The graphics are top notch for espn, more realistic. Madden's graphics are too cartoony. That's just the way I see it.

Well....I see it totally opposite than you then. And not to mention, that the gameplay is far superior in Madden than ESPN. Madden and their off-season is amazing, ESPN's makes me sick.

Have you heard of the new qb evade option in 2k? You can escape the pass rush with just a hit of the stick. I haven't heard madden doing anything like that. That's gonna kill madden's gameplay, that alone. I don't know about you, but when ever i've played with madden and 2k before, when they started blitzing me, it's hard to step up in the pocket and avoid getting sacked.

Not for me. If I had a somewhat mobile qb, i was able to utilize playmaker mode and scramble, and then use playmaker to direct my recievers around so i could get it to them. Doesn ESPN have that?

I don't believe so. In any case I use Mike Vick in 2k4 out of the pocket and the receivers find open spots themselves. I think the higher the scramble rating the better accuracy throwing outside the pocket. Therefore, I don't see playmaking mode as such a big thing.
