sounds good w/ the broadcast style presentation but to me it comes down to gameplay and thus far madden has never failed in that dept

I will be buying it for sure, just like 2K4, 3, 2, 1 and 2K.

I played ESPN last year, and the graphics did look a tad better than Madden, but I still think Madden has the whole gameplay down way better. I also owned NFL 2k2 and the offseason was horrible, compared to Madden. That is one of the few reasons I play madden over ESPN, the offseason is my fav part on all sports games, and EA has nailed it.

EA Madden has always been the king of NFL games, except for super techmo bowl.

I used to be a 2kX guy until 2003 when they messed it up IMO. Maybe I'll switch back, I'm definately going to tst them both this time.

I did that last year. Madden was the winner.

for the people who hate the graphics it said they are completly redone and are made for the xbox (which unarguably has better hardware) and then will be ported to the ps2 in stead of the ps2 being the originator...
people before you make up your mind try them both unbiasedly... in the end its YOUR 50 bucks that you earned so dont just give it away because your loyal to ea or sega, you think they care about YOU the way some us care about their video game? please
best madden ever is 2001 for the orginal ps (eddie george) the last 2 years i have chosen 2k simply because its not as commercial its easier to see whats going on, and minus its few flaws (which madden has just as many) its a better gameplay.
