I mean, come on, the boy is durable. Tulane QBs have been good recently, with Shaun King and Patrick Ramsey. I like it.

I would rather have Losman than that overrated hack you have.

A first, a second and a fifth is ludicrous for someone who'd still be there for us at 43. TD better be right, sounds like he was under a Shotgun, to deal that badly.

How in the world was he going to be there at 43?

He's gone at 25. And the fact that Green Bay had no idea what to do with there pick and reached into tomorrow to pick a CB only supports what everyone else had suspected them doing at 25.

We moved up NINETEEN spots and it cost us a 1st next year. Cleveland moved up ONE spot and it cost them a 2nd this year (An extremely high second at that).

It's the cost of moving up.

Any other QB in this draft is a project to be a backup.

Look what they said about the next QB taken. He'll work hard to be Frank Reich.

I'll put my trust in Wyche, Clements and Mularkey and give them a talented kid to work with.

It all depends. If you're just trying to annoy me, then you're a funny guy. If you're serious, seek medical attention.

Im for certain that we won't keep both HEnry and McGahee next year, and Henry is probably the one to go, so Donahoe believes that we will be able to compensate for the 1st pick this year by recieving a first or maybe early second next year for T-Hen

Still no answer, your analysis is based on? I'm waiting.

How do you know he's gone at 43? You don't as you clearly show. Wyche, MM, and Clements didn't pick, TD did. And Frank Reich won the most memorable game in Bills History. Who is "they"? The cost of picking who you want is not a #1, #2, and a #5, ask the Giants. Get a clue, JP Gunrack was a reach at #22, like it or not.

"cost of picking who you want is not a #1, #2, and a #5, ask the Giants"

It cost the Giants TWO FIRST ROUNDERS, a third and a fifth.

You can't even get simple facts right. The Giants gave up a lot more.

"How do you know he's gone at 43?"

Because the teams at 25 and 26 wanted him. The analysts thought so, TD thought so, pretty much everyone but you thought so.

"And Frank Reich won the most memorable game in Bills History"

That's great. But he's still a BACKUP. We need a future STARTER.

"Wyche, MM, and Clements didn't pick, TD did."

And yet...all three were involved in scouting the QBs...but you believe they had NO SAY in what happens?

Are you serious?

The problem I have with Tom Brady is that every sports announcer gushes over him. Some have even compared him to Joe Montana. Tom Brady's name shouldn’t even be in the same sentence as Montana's. The reason why the patriots got to the Superbowl and won there Championships is because of there great defense. I have not seen one pass that has amazed me by Brady. Plus this is also smack board so I thought I would have some fun.:D

Are you kidding? The Rams, Packers and Raiders were all interested in him and they all picked well ahead of 43. We paid a minimal price to move up as far as we did and Losman wasn't a reach at all, if he's our franchise QB like TD and Co. thinks he is, then he was a steal.

To tell ya the truth all we did was trade our 2nd and 5th to pick a QB this year instead of next year. In my opinion this was a great move because the QB class next year is weak.

I think you look at it the wrong way. We traded a 2nd and a 5th in order to use a 1st one year early. I'd rather have picked Losman now than one of the QBs next year, none of whom are as good as those picked in the 1st this year.

Also, count me as one of those who believed Losman would have been gone before #43. If we had not made the trade, and he was gone, who could we have drafted?

I agree with you, although if we kept our 2nd rounder, Jake Grove (Center) was available and went to the Faiders at #45.

Sorry, hurls, you have some good posts, but there is NO WAY Losman would have been there at 43!! Green Bay would have taken him. Even if he felt they might not, TD couldn't take that chance to pick up the guy he wanted. If you want to argue they gave up too much because he's not good enough to warrant that selection, that's another argument altogether. But he would have been gone.

Now, I hope you are not comparing Frank Reich to Jim Kelly?!?! Yes, he won the most memorable game in history, but Kenneth Davis was also the starting running back that day over Thurman Thomas. Does that mean we "reached" for Thurman in the second?

Maybe I'm confused. Just trying to understand you.

I doubt he's thinking that far ahead...I mean no one even knows if mcgahee will even last...
