2004 Mock Draft Compilation and Analysis (http://www.billsinsider.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=2266&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0)
By Bills Insider Dan Silver
The following is an informative compilation of 35 different Mock Drafts from around the internet. I have broken down each and every pick for the Bills from each and every site. On the left-hand column is the source of the mock draft (with a link to the mock). The middle column contains the picks which the site's mock draft picked for the Bills (broken down by round), and finally the last column is my analysis of the player and the selection.
Mock drafts are not an exact science but they are helpful in determining what players will be available and where and giving you a look at what players other teams will be targeting.
It's hard to determine which mock draft was the best for the Bills. They all had their flaws, but Draft Notebook, and Falkon had nice selections. The best individual pick we got was by the Huddle Report netting us Kellen Winslow Jr. the playmaking TE from Miami. The most common pick was Texas wideout Roy Williams, who was chosen in 9 of the mocks. Philip Rivers followed with 7 and then Kenechi Udeze was selected by the Bills in 6 mock drafts.
I hope you enjoy this easy reference and player analysis. This list took hours to build and will cut down on the searching all you couch scouts might have had to do. If you have any questions (or would like more information) just post them in the The BBI War Room.
