Is anyone else a little turned off by his excuses and complaining? I know the sport breeds a competitive nature, but from reading the article, I get the sense of someone who will be more trouble than he's worth. Any thoughts?

If I remember right one of the things going against Moulds was his brash attitude. I think once Roy gets in the huddle with Drew, Travis, and Eric his ego will deflate a little. If not then whenever Lawyer Milloy destroys him on a crossing route he'll get a better handle on stuff. :slam:

Actually Roy has always been known as a WR with a good head on his shoulders. But a bit of cockiness and ego isn't bad either.

I still think he's the best of the top 3 WR's.

Yeah, if he is available at 13, which may or may not happen, SNAG him.

What's wrong with confidence? What would you rather have had him say? "Well, shucks, I am not as good as these other two, but"

Come on.

I don't disagree, but I'm a little uneasy about a guy who questions why he has to do drills and tests a certain way. There's a difference between cockiness regarding rival players and that towards coaches and other people of authority.

All he said was he was used to doing them differently.

All players(or most, anyways) are cocky by nature, I wouldn't want anyone that wasn't, to some degree. I've read many quotes from many players, but something about this guy just jumped out as being troublesome. It probably is nothing as the media picks what quotes to print, and how to package them, but here's my beef if you take the story at face value. Why complain if you ended up with very good results anyway? I know I'm taking this way too far now, but what if we send him wide to the right, and he says he plays better from the left side? Again, I'm at the mercy of the media's portrayal, but from what I read I just get an uneasy feeling.

Thats what I got from it as well. Its like I just started a new job, and I would tell my boss that we did things differently at where I used to work, and he doesn't care. As long as I show up, do my job, and do it well.....it really doesn't matter.

I feel the same where it comes to football. I think Roy will be fine, and if not, Moulds will straighten him up. Price has a bad attitude coming out of college too (he did also cost us some yards on his occasional stunts). Either way if Roy is there, you HAVE to take him. I'd even trade up for him. I'm not worried about his attitude. It may not be perfect, but its good enough for him to be on the Bills.

I won't go as far as trading up for him, but if he is available at 13, it should be a no brainer

I would definitely trade up for him. He is going to be a monster in the NFL. He is huge WR, he's fast, and has excellent hands. This guy would have gone before Rogers and Johnson last year, and he will most likely go ahead of Mike Williams and even Fitzgerald.

He is definitely worth trading up for, especially since Moulds' days are numbered as he has surpassed the 30 mark (will be 31 in the summer).

Exactly naplam, exactly. This draft is too deep to give up draft picks. We can still get an excellent player at #13.

Attitude and TD don't mix.

4.38 in the 40, and he thinks he's better, This guy on one side and a stronger well Moulds on the other, are you kidding. Do whatever is necessary to grab him. He really catches everything and is considered a disciplined route runner. Who cares if he runs on talking about all the crap he and the rest of the pieces of meat have to go through, I think the kid is for real. I think TD will trade down for him, I would

Moulds was just as cocky when he came into the NFL.

I dont see anything wrong with thise article. Making excuses for running a 4.37? He was just saying how he wished he had known about the 6 inch difference and advised people to run at the combine. He even called Jeff Blake Mr. Blake and mentioned his teammates pro day workout. If this is a bad attitude then you must think Terrell Owens is the devil himself.

If this guy is around at 13, have the quickest guy at the table run up there with the card that has his name on it, as for the attitude thing Name a Superstar reciever that has no attitude, not saying hes at that caliber yet. but Rice was a cocky, Moss a punk, Owens need I say more. It goes with the territory. The guy has no criminal record that I know of, Ill take him
