I don't understand that deal from the Coyotes' perspective.

yeah me neither, maybe just wanted rid of sillinger. Johnson may never get back to the nhl!

It's all about the $$$$$$$$$$. If they don't get this CBA thing squared away, there will be forced contraction. It's called Bankruptcy.....

Why take Johnson's contract? If Sillinger has any value, why not send him to the minors, hoping someone claims him? Or trade him for Delmore, who I think makes less.
