my vote:

east:

Cleveland:
Because I want them to.

Washington:
WIth Arenas back, Brown coming on, and Stackhouse, this team is rather dangerous.

Milwaukee
This team is athletic, and can shoot with Redd.

west:

Portland:
Those trades actually made them a better team this year, look for them to take Denver's spot in the playoofs. Ratliff provides a great post presence on defense. Shariff provides versatility with their deep front court and nice backcourt duo of Anderson and Stoudamire. Darius Miles was a mistake though.

Memphis:
This team plays as a team. They play team defense, and everyone gets involved in offense. They will give the team they face in the first round serious trouble if they don't win.

All this from the guy who picked Pheonix to win it all in the preseason.

I like teams like Denver, Memphis and Portland, but the top 5 out West are too good.

I can agree on Milwaukee though. Everyone sleeps on their team, but they can run and make shots. No one in the East is good enough to overlook them. I don't see them making the Conference Finals, but I think they definately can get out of the first round. Not this year for Cleveland, but they have a very real future. He wears #23.

In the east its NO.

Cleveland is not good enough this year.
Washington is awful. Arenas is overrated. the guy makes too many bad decisions and takes too many wild shots.

In the West I like Denver because they play an up-tempo team game. Carmelo Anthony is awesome.
Memphis-has great depth and Gasol is vastly underrated

Check that, I don't like Portland. Cheeks out to be fired on the spot for having Abdur-Rahim come off the bench. Worst coaching move ever. I don't care how good Randolf is, find a way to start both guys. Abdur-Rahim is the best scoring threat on the team, play him!
