Phil has won 9 championships to your 0. You're still the starting pg averaging over 30 minutes. Get over it, you haven't been the same player for the last 3 or 4 years.

what exactly did he expect? he goes to a team with 4 potential hall of famers- does he think he'll get to score 30 pts a night? what happened to all the talk that he made at the start of the year (I only want to win, it doesn't matter about my stats as long as we win, etc) what an idiot

His nickname is the "glove" for his defensive efforts. It has nothing to do with his scoring ability. I can't belive someone on the lakers is whining.

i can't believe he is whining. If he wanted to be the star putting in 48 mins, he should've gone to a loser....not the lakers.

I expected this. GP has never had to deal with a problem like this, being so far down on the options list. I think he thought this was going to be an easy regular season and a great chance to walk to a title. Now he realizes it won't be so easy, and hes not having fun right now. He needs to let his pride take a backseat if he wants a ring. If not, finish out the year and then go elswhere.

Me? I predicted the Lakers in October. I have no problem with the way in which they have constructed their team, although they have a very suspect bench.

Good finally someone who isnt justa hater. As far as the bench goes, last year you wouldve been exactly right. But this year with fisher, george, medvedenko if Malone gets back, rush and grant they will get solid minutes from them all. That is miles ahead of last years Jannero Pargo, Mark Madsen and Samaki Walker.

They have the best team. but for Payton to talk the way he is, is embarassing to himself

True, he needs to shut his mouth and increase his production. He hasnt been shooting well at all.
