I'll give 20 chips to the first person to answer this question:
Who was the Bandits captain during the championship season of 1996?

I'd say Rich Kilgour.

Ding Ding Ding!
It was indeed Brian Hall, it was his last season.
Too bad, he was my favorite Bandit of all time. He was the oldest, smallest, and craziest Bandit, and I will alway love the time he picked up O'Neil and body slammed him causing a 10 man brawl. The penalty box was already filling up and after the fight there were so many people in the box that they had to stand to fit everyone in.
I think the next year Accursi came in from Syracuse and Wakeling made him captain, and then the next year started Rich's rein that has lasted up till this very day.

I really miss the trivia that they used to have on lacrosse-network, thats kinda why I started this thread. If anyone wants to throw more trivia in that would be cool, but I would ask to try and make it stuff that isn't easily looked up.
Here is another one for 20 chips.
Only two players have lead the Bandits in scoring other than Tavares. Name the players and years as well as the reason that JT didn't lead the team...one reason will be subjective the other will be objective.
>> This should be pretty easy for a certain poster on this board<< lol

First, the answer to the latest question:
1992 Derek Keenan - because JT was just a rookie
1998 Darris Kilgour - because JT had a knee injury and only played 9 games in the regular season
Now, for a correction:
The Bandits have had 4 captains in their history. The first was Brian Hall, who was with the team until 1997. Mike Accursi didn't join the Bandits until 2000, so there was a second captain in between there, but I can't for the life of me remember who it was at the moment. I will look it up and get back to you with the answer. Mike was appointed captain before he ever played a game for the team, and was captain for only 1 year. Richie has been captain since 2001.
WingEater ... rest assured, lax-net's trivia will be returning eventually. The lax-net crew, unfortunately, has had too many other things to do this season to be able to put together the trivia each week, but we're hoping to revive trivia soon.

In the 1996 Championship game, no Bandit scored 4 goals ... Troy Cordingley and Jason Luke each had 3, but no one got 4.
In the semi-final game that year, however, Travis Kilgour had 4 goals ... is that who you were talking about?

Come to think of it your right Bandit. Stupid mistake on my part...if I was to guess I would say that Richie was captain after Brian left then they passed it to accursi for 2000 then back to Richie, but I'm just guessing...or maybe it was JT...crap I can't remember...oh well :D
Here is another one for fun:
Who is the last Bandit to win rookie of the year?

I believe the last (and only) ROY award given to a Bandit was to Derek Keenan in '92 .. I could be wrong, tho

Disher got one or two Rookie of the Week awards, but not ROTY.
