what would you guys want on 2005 that wasn't on 2004?

i want more options for the create a stadium and more options in the owner mode.

online play for xbox and your own music for the stadium music

get rid of the stupid cheerleader half time performance and instead have them talking about whats happened and who's playing great.

better SB celebration, instead of it being just a regular end-of-game celebration with a trophy glued to someones hand.

more TD celebrations, and maybe the ability to choose which celebration you want to do using certain button pressing

more commentary, have michaels get excited when you're sprinting down the sideline.

laterals, a way to weed out the cheese dicks online, the slam dunk td celebration, buying out contracts


just a better online experience altogether, its so disappointing playing someone and getting up 14 - 0 and have them quit on ya.

they should make a rule you quit 3 times and youre out

more logos for your helmets... better halftime presentation... and if i win the superbowl. i want some cool looking stuff.. why not show like your team in a parade or something or something exciting.. the FLEE FLICKER.. where is it?... i want ncaa football to have the real names so you can make the draft for madden 2005 right... i want to see injuries better .. maybe trainers or an ambulance for guys like my qb that had his back broken... and something i miss from one of the OLD madden games... they had where.. they would take you to another game and see the final play of a close game.. i loved that.. wish they would bring it back.. i think it was on madden 1992 i believe...

create youre own expansion team , they have something like that already but you have to take a team that already exists i dont want that i want to build a team from the ground up


i never saw or dont remember any of the old madden games showing highlights from other games or from a game you had just played and ive played 'em all , i remember one of the first basketball games had that at halftime that was freaking awesome and they need to bring that in

Not repeat EA Sports its in the Game when loading.

A later release date. So your teams season lineup looks like the real lineup and not one from three months prior.

Make the Super Bowl field look like the actual Super Bowl field. Paint the endzone like the do in the real thing and not those endzones they have at a regular home game. ex. you play Green Bay in the Super Bowl there endzone should not read GREEN BAY.

I think the Madden contract is up for 2005. They are not going to renew it so it will have a entirely different name. 10 to 1 it is something boring like EA Football 2005.

I'd be interested in something that I saw on NHL 2004. The players on that game have a morale rating, and if they don't get enough playing time or have practices that are to long, their morale goes down. When that goes down the player's attributes go down. I would love to see that on Madden. Although it would make the game harder, it would also make the game more realistic.

Other than that I would like to see the halftime celebration thrown away. It's pretty dumb.

I would also love to see a better Super Bowl celebration. Nothing makes me more mad then when I win the SB and I have to see that crappy celebration. Let's make it a lot better this year.

I'm more interested in ESPN NFL 2k5, but I did play some Madden this past year and I think they really need to make the running game much more seamless and realistic. And the speed of players should be tweaked... to often I'd get caught from behind by linebackers when I was Moulds or Shaw, yet on D I couldn't catch Bettis if he was running in open field.

the key to running the ball in madden is not using the speed burst until youre in the open field or if you want to bowl a pathetic db over

I'd like to see the field goal difficulty go up in certain situations. Kind of like a pressure meter. Like 4th quarter if it's tied or you're down by 3 and other scenarios. That would be pretty cool. The field goals are too easy if you ask me.

Few suggestions:

Better Super Bowl celebration- It's the biggest game of the year and if you win the celebration should be great.

Get the offseason correct- I don't know why they did it but in 04 the draft comes before FA which is stupid. They need to change it back like it was in 03.

Highlites from other games- during your game they should send it back to the studio once in a while and show you updates on other games. And at halftime take you to the studio to run through all the games. If it's a Sunday or Monday nighter then they would just run threw all the finals.

Indeed! I had to cut someone from my team and sign a new SS after mine got injured for the season. I just wanted to play a FS there :(

You actually can... its kind of a trick to do it....
After you make your stadium and get them to accept it, go and change your team name or whatever and choose a generic logo. then go in and make your uniforms how you want them then.... go back to where you choose your logo and put it on the one you wanted. then dont go back to the uniforms ..... just go down to the last thing ya do and click on it.. and wallah.. when you go through your next season. your team will have the same logo ..

Mostly for online play.... (some people have a need to put players like moss at Te.. and things like that)
they should have it on D where your #1 covers they're number one all the time, or have a way to assign man coverage to players

i stopped a team on 4th down but they fumbled then i fumbled the ball right after and it wasnt past the 4th down marker but i guess because of the change of possession the team received a new set of downs

now i beleive in real football this wouldnt be considered a first down

this is something they deffinately need to fix in 2005

if a team fumbles you recover then you fumble even if they dont get the first down, on the filed its cosidered a change of possesion new set of downs

The fact that put Moss in a TE sucks but if you just put your reciever in the slot for 1 play then move him back outside, thats so you can take advantage of a missmatch such as a LB on a WR
