OK folks, halfway mark of 6-2 looks pretty damn good. A game and a half lead over Philly and Rochester and 3 games up on TO. What does it all mead? DIDDLY! 8 games left in the regular season including next week at Philly again make the 2nd half much more important. Consider:
2 games in the house of horrors, Rochester
1 game in the ACC vs the Rock to start of a home and home
And next week in Philly, think the Wings forgot about the pasting they got last time? Not likely.
6-2 is impressive in the East but crunch-time is upon the Banditos. Losing Caines for any length of time isn't good. Chugger going down doesn't help either. But guess what? Darris has depth to work with. Fraser goes in and does a great job on draws which in turn frees up Accursi to score goals. Darris brings in Thomas Montour and he chips in 1g,1a and brings the speed.
General gets the call with Quinner as a tested backup. DEPTH people! Darris has even more guys to call on if need be but now is when the team is gelling. Terry Sanderson has the D playing within themselves and making the other teams take bad shots. The offense is chipping in from all angles and JT is taking charge when it gets to crunch time.
Can we go all the way? My heart always says "Hell Yea!" but now my head is saying " Hell Yea!!" too. The feeling is stronger this year than it was last year. Now we just need to get more butts in the seats at HSBC to watch it all happen again like 92,93 and 96!

Mac be stumblin' off to bed after a huuuuge-cillo weekend!

Hey Mac, any word on how long Chugger is going to be out. I feel as if I jinxed him because I got a new jersey and am having "Chugger" put on it. Anyway, I have not got to wear it yet, and in Saturdays paper Darris said he could be out a while.

As for this season, I am really impressed. Last year the Bandits problem was winning on the road, and this year they have already won in Toronto and Philly. The problem is that this season the Bandits have to go in their twice, and the second time is going to be tuffer then the first. But if Mac and Bandit are the in the building, things seem to be okay, you guys seem to be a good luck charm or something.

I love our depth, its just a shame that Powell and Susheski are on the holdout list because with them we would be by far the deepest team in the nll. I've been very impressed with the couple of games I've seen from Neal Powless as well. He has scored some timely goals and has done a nice job of filling in for Kerry.

Snarf ... from what I'm hearing, Chugger will likely be out a week or two, but shouldn't be much longer than that. However, we all know groin injuries can be bothersome for a long time, so none of this is written in stone. With any luck Chugger will be back soon, but I have confidence in Chico and Quinner to get the job done.

Caines on the other hand could be out a while. I talked to him after the game on Saturday, and his MRI results are due back today, but he feels the injury is a pretty bad one. I'll keep you all informed as I hear more.

Unfortunately, Mac and I can't make the game in Philly this week, so keep your fingers crossed!

We will, however, be at every remaining game for the rest of the season!

For anyone who would like tickets to the remaining games in Rochester and Toronto ... I have a group of seats reserved for all 3 games.
