Randy Ayers was fired as coach of the Sixers
Another NBA coach bites the dust. I have to feel for this guy, he has no team to put aroung The Answer. Big Dog is a big no-show and there is no other scoring threat for the Sixers. For Iverson's part, he took a good leadership role in my view by expressly saying that Ayers wasn't at fault, placing blame on the players and letting everyone know that 21-31 is far from good enough. Iverson is tops in steals and points per game, but that isn't enough even in the East. Philly has wasted the best years of the best player in Basketball's career by providing him with no support. I hate this move to use Ayers as another scapegoat.
