Great Blue North have the following players being taken 1-12 in this years draft:

Eli Manning QB
Larry Fitzgerald WR
Sean Taylor FS
Ben Roethlisberger QB
Kellen Winslow TE
Roy Williams WR
Robert Gallery OT
Kenechi Udeze DE
Reggie Williams WR
Tommie Harris DT
Shawn Andrews OT
Will Smith DE

Now here is my thought...we are on the clock at 13 and TD looks at what is left and guess what...there is a group of players available but no one stands out over another from 13 to about 27 with the exception of the RB's but we don't need a RB...so I think if TD could trade down into the 20's and pick up another early pick, he should do it. Similar to the year we had the 14th pick and everybody was screaming for Kenyatta Walket, OT...we traded down to 21 I think, got Nate Clements and got an extra 2nd rounder and turned it into Travis Henry...that is what I'd like to see this year...we could turn that extra pick into a Philip Rivers or maybe a Ben Troupe and still get a real nice player in round one.

Ben Troupe would be nice, but Ben Watson, from UGA, is very undervalued. I got to watch him play all year, and let me tell you, he's a non-stop catching machine.

Yeah, I've heard of the "other" Ben...either way I would like to get an extra 2nd rounder this year!!

Well you have to hear me out on this because there will be alot to take in. Now, should we make a deal with a couple of teams so that we have an opportunity to really increase the talent on this team, would depend on which team we make the deal with. Here our some options. Any trade involving TH in mho, should only be done if it is proven that TH is unhappy here. That said, if TH want's out than we can begin to consider a move to send him to Arizona for the #3 1st rd. and their 2nd rd pick. If they show no interest than I would try to move him to Washington for Ramsey and their 2nd rd. pick this year and a #1 pick next yr. If we can get a QB outside of the draft that would be a tremendous plus for us as it opens our options to go for some much needed upgrades. I would use the pick from the cards to get gallory and then trade down our #13 pick to aquire another 2nd rd pick giving us five picks in the first two rds. Do you think we couldn't get some good players with that scenario?

I agree with some of what you said, Range Roamer, but a lot of it hinges on Travis Henry being disgruntled. The rest depends on Arizona or another team in the top 5 making what I consider to be a foolish trade. I think it can be argued that Travis Henry is worth a top 10 pick, but if I've got the third, fouth, or fifth pcik in the draft, there is absolutely no freakiing way I would trade my number one and number 2 pick's for Travis. He's just not worth that much.

Travis could have changed his mind (again) but as last November, from a quote I heard, Travis feels that he and McGahee can work well together next season and he's not at all unhappy. If Buffalo has that many picks in the first two rounds, I don't think it makes a great deal of difference whether Buffalo acquires a young veteran QB, Drew Henson, or drafts a promising one.

The other thing I question is the selection of Gallery. Granted, he's a great left tackle, but I'm not sure that with decent coaching (for a change) the tackles we have can't be as good. I woul;d be more likely to target Vernon Carey, whom I could plug in at right guard and immediately make that a strength on the line.
