View Full Version : Can Stanford go undefeated?

For those of you not aware, the Stanford Cardinal mens B-Ball team is 20-0 so far this season. With a last-second win over #12 Arizona on Saturday to get their 20th win, the talk is now in full swing over the Cardinal's chances at a perfect regular season record.

They have 7 games remaining:

Home games: Oregon St., Oregon
Away games: Cal, USC, UCLA, Wash. St., Washington

I see UCLA on the road as the toughest game of these, but I still think that Stanford WILL go undefeated. They will have a #1 seed in the Tourney, but the pressure of having an undefeated season may be too much to withstand through March Madness.

Do you think that Stanford can go undefeated? First in the regular season, then how about the Tourney?

Yes I think they cleared their last hurdle on Saturday w/ the defeat of Arizona but I think it puts alot of pressure on them. They would have beeen better off in the long run losing that game and taking the pressure of being undefeated off them.

The pressure is on, but I'm with you, game. They'll make it through the regular season spotless and lose in the tourney.

They are getting close. St. Joes too. Amazing work by these two squads.

last nights finish was incredible. I came home at around 12 and turn on the tv to see Stanford losing. What a comeback they were down by 6 with less then a minute remaining.

The Cardinal are very lucky to have gone undefeated so far, and I see them winning at Washington tomorrow and going on to win the Pac-10 title next week. However, I don't see them winning the NCAA's.

Well they are done. and to be honest, I would not be surprised if they got ousted in the round of 32.

Of course, I could be wrong...
No way they're going to win it all after what almost happened at Wazu and what did happen at Washington.
