I will give 20 chips to the person that picks the winner and score of each of the Buffalo Bandits. If nobody wins this week, the pot will get added to next games and so on. If more then one person wins the pot is split. Only one guess per person, and they have to be in by game time. Good luck.

2/6/2004 HSBC Arena Buffalo Bandits (3-2 Tied for 1st in East) vs. Rochester Knighthawks (3-2 Tied for 1st in East)

This weeks pot: 100 Chips

There has been no official announcement as of yet, supposedly all the details will be in tomorrow's D&C, but from what I'm hearing, he's possibly torn his ACL and could be out for the rest of the season.

Now, like I said, nothing is official, it's just hearsay at this point. But I can't help but like the thought of playing Rochester without JG Jr. (Not that I would wish this type of injury on any player ... but ya gotta like the Bandits chances without having to worry about trying to contain Grant!)

Torn ACL ... Grant out for the remainder of the season! The Knighthawks have also lost Marshall Abrams for the remainder of the season to a torn ACL during the Philly game on Jan 17th. Both players will have surgery this week, and require 8-9 monhts of recovery and rehab.

Wow. I hope Grant feels better and all but its awesome we don't have to worry about keeping him in check come friday and the rest of the year. This could really put the hawks in a hole unless someone seriously picks up their game. Grant is and was their offense.

The Bandits may have a better chance of beating the Knighthawks, but I by no means hand you the game victory just because John is out.

We demolished Toronto last week until the final few minutes and some really bad decisions by our guys, but we owned them.

Buffalo would be wise not to concur that this game is won merely by showing up. The rest of the Knighthawks know they have something to prove to the rest of the NLL. They want to prove that having Grant is very nice, but their not dependant on him.

We still have the perfect mix of veterans like Regy, Soudo, Holly, Turner, D Money, Willy and Penny and new faces like Giles, Harasym, Robertson, Hoar, O'Connor, Stobart and Evans.

So, my advice is go ahead and take us lightly like you did Philly and we'll have no problem filling that Fann Cup up with victory pops.

Knabber da thinkin' 13 Khawks 11 Bandits (tight, well fought bruising game)

P.S. Did I mention the Krew Kavalry Section will be over 35 strong and we're not talking quiet people either. Bring your earplugs Buffalo, you'll need them.:pileon:

Hafta....you're always welcome....but 35 to 7-10 K+ plus? Sorry, but you're outnumbered, outvoiced and outscreamed. In any case, good luck to the K-Hawks(and it sucks we won't see JG Jr. in action...as a lax fan who wants to see the best,NOT as a Bandit fan;THAT fan is happy we don't have to see him for fear he could make the difference in the game).

Buffalo;

If you can only beat a Grantless Knighthawks team by 1 at home, you had better just stay home and take the forfeit on the 28th of February.

It's okay to admit it, you're among friends, you were petrified at the end of the game when once again the Knighthawks came storming back except Chugger didn't throw the ball out of bounds this time.

Good Luck in Toronto tonight, you'd better be hungry tonight.

Knabber da likin' the Knighthawks with some more youth and speed
