What is with all the high-fiving and hugging before these guys play? I am sick of seeing players joking around with each other. You think Bill laimbeer was doing that? There is no passion in b-ball anymore its all about the money and the next shoe contract. Nobody is hungry except for the guys on the bench.

football players do the same thing after a game...who cares as long as they play hard. They are part of a very small profession and a lot of them are freinds. They grow up meeting and playing together. i think most are plenty competitive

Bball is not a contact sport. Do you want them to hate each other going into the game? Most of the players knwo someone on another team because of college or he was on that team before.

I have to disagree with you here Duff. I think that the intensity is high in the NBA right now. There is a lot of individual talent, but also a lot of good competition.

it is a contact sport, tell iverson its not. Nancy's like vince who are afraid to go into the lane make it a non-contact sport.
