Stats really dont mean nothing. AVP broke all of Dan Marino's college records.

All I know is that RIvers, Manning, and Big ben are not far apart.

I know that there are other variables such as strength of schedule and offensive line talent, but those stats speak in favor of Rivers in every category. They tell me that he is more accurate, more mobile, and makes less mistakes than Eli Manning.

I have a friend of mine that's a former college QB. He is not very impressed with Manning. He had the same sense about Brees and Couch. His numbers don't really blow you away. But he's a product of the offense, so it's tough to say how Manning will do in the pro's.

I think Rivers or Harris in the 2nd or 3rd is a safer bet.

First off, even if they did take him there is close to a 0% chance that he will contribute in 2004. So if your prediction is based on Rivers or any rookie QB at the helm, forget it..Drew is the QB in 04, hands down, regardless if we drafted Manning, Rivers, Losman, or Jesus Christ.

College stats dont mean a friggin thing. David Klingler and Andre Ware had amazing college stats and what did they do in the NFL. Ty Detmer has all kinds of college passing records and he is a journeyman backup

dont read too much into it

I don't know, if Jesus Christ was our qb I think he could lead us to the promised land...
