So far in this game he is 8-13 for 96 yards and 2 TDs. Unfortunately, I fear we may not see him still on the board at 44 or 45 (whatever our #2 is)...He is the real deal, no doubt...

Sorry, spoke too soon...

I keep hearing Rivers will stink. The fact is that any draft pick could stink it up. There's never a sure thing in the draft because it's all risk. In my opinion Rivers can be good in the nfl, but of course that's just my opinion and I could be wrong.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I still haven't met number 1, so you'll have to come home after the weather thaws, and I can corrupt them towards a "more Fredonia-like" thinking. I see Josh Harris and Losman are in now

Getting back to the original post, Kiper thinks Rivers could go #20 to Miami in the first round....Ouch..

Look, this kid is gonna be good, regardless of how he throws, he does it accurately, and he is a good leader. Just suck it up and take him with the 13th pick. who cares about "draft value". Just do it TD!

TAKE THIS KID WITH THE 23th PICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rivers will either by taken by Miami, or even Green Bay according to the News and Observer here in Raleigh. I highly dought he will make it out of the first round.

Agreed there, but if by some miracle he drops, I say grab him, of course. But Mel Kiper's latest has us drafting DE Will Smith(not the Fresh Prince) from OSU

There has to be someone at 17 or 18 looking to trade up...We could move down a bit, secure a 4th for the move, and still end up with Rivers...Of course, using a first rounder on him insures that Drew is all but toast here...A 2nd or 3rd rounder is less obvious but using a first rounder seals his fate..Mularky may not be willing to do that given his stance on Drew and his future last week...Who knows...

I saw him. He looked very good. He could throw short, medium, and also the long ball. He showed some mobility too. Looked damn good.
