MICHAEL JENKINS......http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/index (if anyone can post what Kiper is saying about him, please do)
The guy is a stud:
Clutch
Big
Fast
Great Hands
Winner
Moves
His only problem was he was not on a high powered offense so he is not going to have the #'s of guys like Roy Williams or Mark Clayton. But he is awesome and I now think we have no chance to get him, unless we grab him at #13 or trade down. Imagine what his #'s would have been if he played for Okie or with a qb that just throws throws throws? Tressel & OSU played a conservative brand of football. Not so sure it was the right thing to do. Anytime they opened it up, he and Santonio Holmes would tear teams up. How bout KState with a top notch d-backfield. Jenkins smoked them play after play. People with just little knowledge just look at the stats. But when your qb overthrows you on every target, how can you make a catch? Scouts are drooling over Jenkins. Hopefully Donahoe and Modrack are two of the droolers.
Good for MJ. All of OSU knew he was awesome but people doubted because his #'s lied. IDIOTS.
any thoughts are welcome..............

I'm not sure anyone doubted Jenkins.
Even with the conservative play-calling he still put up some of the best numbers by an Ohio State reciever ever.
I guess he just never had the 250 yd 4 touchdown game, but he was always producing week in, week out.

Dwight i'm with you! At 6-5 215 he has deceptive speed. When the game is on the line you can count on him to make clutch plays. In the nfl, you are two or three big plays away from changing the outcome of a game. Jenkins is the type of player who will make the one handed grabs and every other key play. He would be a steal in round one. His addition will open up the passing game. He's a very unselfish player who will make all the blocks.

Bucky Brooks was another sensation who didn't play on a passing team. He totally sucked, but he was very very fast....

I guy no one talks about also is Micheal Clayton.
This Draft is full of just what the Bills need, a big, strong, and fast WR. And the ability to pick up a decent QB in the second or 3rd that has the potential to be very good.
Im STarting to like WR in the first and QB in 2nd or 3rd.
Its almost too good to be true.

If the draft is full of WR's, why do we take one in the first when one could be had in lower rounds. We need a future starting QB, not another future 3rd stringer, i.e. Travis Brown. If the draft is in deed full of WR's then our best bet is to take a QB in round one and WR in 2 or 3.
I guess we will have to wait to see what happens though.:gobills2:

Grab Lee Evans in the 2nd. And don't give up on Josh Reed just yet. (I know, I know, he is not a deep threat).

Devery Henderson in the second is my choice. Jenkins is too good and won't be around by the 43rd pick.
Henderson is a Peerless Price-type and could be the fastest player in the draft, depending how he and DeAngelo Hall run.
Henderson turned a lot of heads at the Senior Bowl. He'd be a good pick at 43.

Totally agree. I like this kid a lot, and I'd rather see us pick up help at a less stacked position in the first.

Agreed. Better value at WR in the second.

I like Keary Colbert more than Henderson b/c I think Colberts hands are insane.

Colbert is good as well. I think that Buffalo should go WR in the second, because the position is so deep. Colbert and Henderson could've been late-first, early second rounder in any other year.

Yep Rivers first, best available WR in the 2nd or 3rd if one of the stud guards or center is there

Disagree. We should go with the best player at 13. I think Udeze may drop now that Mike Williams declared and if Washington signs Kearse.
I have been kicking this idea around:
13th overall: Udeze
Trade up from second into the first round and take Rivers.
I think Rivers is going to drop now that Miami traded for AJ Feeley, and now that Marino is gone.
I think Buffalo will have to give up two picks, or their first next year. Even though this draft is deep, I would rather give up a second next year and a third this year, along with the 43th overall.
Draft could look like this:
1.) Udeze
2.) Rivers
4.) Nick Leckey
5.) Nathaniel Adibi

Typical, sensible post Sabot. Don't you know that these boards have been taken over by garden variety raving lunatics? What's with the unemotional analysis? Sure you wouldn't rant about how stupid TD is for letting Ruben Brown go, or how Travis Brown is a FAR better QB than Drew Bledsoe? You'd better watch your step mister.
I used to think that the prospect of Udeze still being around at 13 was very slim, but with Williams & Fitzgerald added into the mix, the dream scenario of plucking Keneche (sounds like a great independent film title) and trading into the first to grab Rivers is starting to look like a very real possibility.
While I've had some reservations about Rivers' throwing motion in the whipping winds at the Ralph, I think there's enough upside in his game and his character to make him a very good pick for Buffalo (although he'd be a much better pick for a dome team or a Southern team). I still can't believe Miami folded in the Rivers game. I guess they're planning on turning Ricky into the next Earl Campbell. Bad news for Ricky.
Anyway, the planets sure seem to be aligning for "1.Udeze, 1a. Rivers". Despite the lunatics that I read here, I'm still fascinated by the poker game played by Donahoe (putting on a big show at the Henson audition, etc..). It's almost as fun as the regular season. Especially the last few regular seasons.

I really wanted Julius Peppers two years ago.
I think Udeze is in his class. Had he stayed at USC, he'd go number one overall next year.

At this point, I love the idea of Udeze with the 13th pick, then a really great WR in the 2nd, which is very possible this year of all years, plus a steal for our OL through trade into the bottom of the first or into the second.
3rd and 4th rounds, take the best available player at QBoftheFuture,OL,DT,CB,S,K, not necessarily in that order, depending on how they fall.
