hay gane i like chugger but he has to go he looks like garbage in all 3 games not like chugger letting in 13 goals a game. genreal needs to start sunday he played good vs philly when we pulled chugger....
time to make a change befor it's to late
and the team looks slow and look like thay can't get open to many high brake out balls and over and backs ... we need a change to many trades in the off season ...

thats my view on the first 3 games,,,,

Shotgun,I'm not going to go on the "eject Chugger" bandwagon because, frankly,he doesn't deserve it. Did he let in some softies in last night? Yes. But maybe the reason he's been looking not like his self is...the D is lousy! I think trading Ogie,Gelsvik, etc. is going to cost Buffalo in the long run.
And,FWIW,I think General will get the start against Anaheim if for no other reason than to give Steve a rest.

last night against the Ravens...:survivor:

hopefully, that won't be the case Sunday....

Did we all forget the first game of the year already? Chugger played great and was the main reason the Bandits beat the K-hawks. The problem with the Bandits is not the goaltending, it is the defense. Ogilvie is in Vancouver and Hackel is nowhere to be found, that is the problem with the Bandits.

Hackel needs to remain "nowhere to be found". Worst Bandit to ever wear the colors IMO. The D looks pitiful and good ol' Terry needs to decide when he's going to earn that 1st paycheck. For a D assistant coach he sure hasn't done squat. The tools are there folks, we need to use 'em. I'm really disappointed in Couling so far; he has yet to assume the leadership of the on-floor D. I know Kyle can do it but he hasn't yet. Sooner would be better than later. Tonite they better get their frustrations out on a Storm team that CAN be beaten. 1-3 going to Philly isn't what they need for confidence.

Mac while I agree Couling can be better, I think the key to this season maybe Billy D. He needs to step up and become the player we hoped when he was drafted. He is tall, strong, fast, and has good hands. We NEED him to develope ASAP! He has the talent that Gelsvik and Olgilvie could only dream to have. The difference between those two and Billy is consistency.

Terry works his ass off for his D. He does anything in his power for our D. Now it's up to the D to step it up. Terry has already done enough, but he is going to do more! After next weekend's practices and 4 games under under belts, the D will start molding and become more solid.

OK Toros, sounded like the D played a lot better Sunday nite so "maybe" Terry's plan is starting to sink in. Couling must have read the boards before he took the floor 'cuz he was out there deckin' everybody from the way Gurtler was calling it. Huge win for the boys though. Even though it was against a "weaker" team the B's have looked fairly weak so far this season. Hopefully an agressive practice schedule during their "bye" week will get them ready for a tough stretch of games. On to Philly in 11 days!
