Was Richie hurt/delayed or was he benched in favor of Ryan. If he was benched, then he should smack some sense into his little brother...lol
I understand you want to get ryan in there, but I need Richie on the floor in a big game. I would alternate Caines and Ryan, but I would never put Richie on the bench. Given the D we lost I think he is one of our best defensemen.

Richie tweaked his knee a bit while working out during the week. He may miss this week's games, however, with the following week off, he should be good to go for the game in Philly. Nothing serious, just no one wanted to take the chance of making it worse by letting him play.

From what Richie told me he tweaked something while workin' out during the week. He thinks he coulda went but it's safer to get him 100%. 2nd game of the season dosen't really constitute a "big game". We're .500 which is better than those jokes of the NHL that ice-dance at the HSBC. Rhyno looked way out of place and i'd guess that's mostly from playing as a middie basically. He was never put in a position to use his talents for most of the night which is down low on the wing. How this ends up playing out is anyones guess. Darris knows what he wants from these guys and by mid-season things will be a lot clearer for the rest of us. Can they stop pi$$ing off the refs from the bench? It'd be nice. Can they stop taking really dumb penalties? Hope so. It's 1 loss in the toughest division lacrosse has ever thought of, so nobody is going to cruise the East. The western trip this weekend will go along way towards the character of this team. Lets hope we can keep the refs from burying us again.

Actually I thought the bad coaching decision was pulling General so early. The Bandits had plenty of time to score two goals to tie the game up. And when Philly scored the empty net goal, the Bandits had no chance of coming back. I would have waited for about 2 minutes or a minute and a half to pull the goalie.

I agreed with pulling General down by 3, but when they got within two they had plenty of time and should have put him back in the nets.
