Well we have seen enough this year to say some things. The things i would liek to say are:

I am very impressed with KG he has shown that he is the best player in the NBA by far. No one is in his league. We would have seen this 2 years ago but he did not go to college.

No one wants to say it but Tim Duncan has a bad shot and is probably the worst free throw shoter in the NBA. He misses badly for the outside. And his free throw shoting is just gettin ugly.

Yao ming is totally over rated. You can also throw Steve Fransis in this catagory. Even though Steve is still a good baller he is suposed to be the best PG in the west. I mean he has been starting the last couple years.

Lakers even with the additions of Karl and GP are still run by Shaq. Plane and simple without him they lose with him they win.

Here are some of my all NBA teams

All Overrated
C - Yao Ming
PF - Anotnio McDyss
SF- Corlis Williams
SG - Ricky Davis
PG - Steve Francis

All Underated
C - Eric Cardinal
PF - Pau Gasol
SF - Matt Harpring
SG - Bobby Jackson
PG - Arroyo

All NBA
C - Shaq
PF - KG
SF - Tmac
SG - AI
PG - Baron Davis

and I will add that the raptors were a 500 team before the trade for rose and marshall and after the trade they are still a 500 team except with more scoring options. The gm Grunwald should be fired because for years has lacked a big man and the gm hasn't been able to bring him to toronto. As for vince he better start going to the basket to make things happen and stop settling for bad jump shots or he will find himself with the clippers as the punishment.

TMac has been a huge dissapointment so far this season, in my view. So far this year, I've been a bit surprised at how San Antonio has been able to bounce back after their rough start, and I'm surprised that Gary Payton is hardly involved with the Lakers' offence at all. They won't win if he's not touching the ball. Biggest surprise is the Nuggets. They are for real. LeBron has been great, I hope he keeps it up. Rasheed Wallace has really fallen off, and Sa**amento is quietly playing well, but this isn' the playoffs so I wouldn't read too much into that.

Portland was in toronto yesterday and played like crap, but the most intersting think is that rasheed wallace who didn't playe waa more intereste in watching his favorite team the chiefs lose then he was caring about how his own did. If I was another team and I hear about this my interest in him would wane considerably, or I might even wasting my time to a make call to the portand gm for rasheed services

no one should want Rasheed, he behaves like a 14 year old kid who needs some sort of anti-depression meds.

I'll disagree some with that. Tim Duncan has a career FG percentage of .509 and FT percentage of .702

Garnett, whom you hailed as the best player in the nba, has a career FG percentage of .488 and a FT percenttage of .755

Not too much difference there. Garnett gets more steals, Duncan gets more blocks. Garnett has less Turn-overs, Duncan gets more rebounds. Garnett gets more assists, Duncan gets more points. They are real even. So it's hard to say Garnett is the best player 'by far'

Garnett is having a better year than Duncan so far this season, but you gotta give Duncan some credit for his consistency and playoff performance.

Are you sure that Duncans FT percentage is .702 that doesnt seem right he has been in the .600's for the last couple years.

also rebounds are wrong. last year KG had 511 boards to TD's 433 just saw it on espn.com

what do i think of the nba so far this season?

i hate it, (putting aside the fact im a celtics fan and if we still had 'toine we would probably own the east right now) but thats not why i hate it

i hate the fact the quality of the game just sucks, and there are a few black and white reasons for this

- players leaving college when they are freshman/ high school players coming in

if you think about it this is the main reason why the quality is down from say 10 yrs ago

- zone defense , why this is a problem i have no idea but maybe if some guys stayed in college maybe they would know how to beat a zone

- the refs and the way the game is called today, i will argue this till im blue in the face , unless your a superstar w/ a million$$ shoe contract , youre going to have the refs call traveling on you
when guys like francis and iverson palm and carry the ball all day but might get it called maybe once a week

another instance w/ the refs there is supposed to be no hand checking above the key , paul pierce has 3 guys hanging all over him as soon as he touches the ball, w/ out a foul ever being called(ok i might be venting as a celtic fan w/ that one but its true)

- that white circle under the basket, this thing was implimented to make it clear to the fans when a charge should be called under the basket ........the refs totally overlook this white circle and could care less about it, ive seen plenty of instances when a guy was in the circle and have the call go the other way or vice versa

easy soloution to making the quality better , how about a guy must have 3 yrs experience playing college or nbdl experience

there is no doubt that these kids have the athletic ability but it ruins the quality of play when they dont have the experience of seeing the different defenses and overall speed of the nba

im done venting about this if anyone wants to talk about the topics i brought up ill be back

i have something to say about the zone. The reason scoring is down is not becaseu of the zone. Its becasue peopel cant hit jumpers. Thats how you beat the zone. Pass a little bit drive in just a little then dish out to your open man. He will be open and he should make the 16-20 ft jumper every time.
