OK folks, the refs got into the kitchen and made our Fowl foul. I hope Darris locks those morons out of the kitchen this week. Next up, Wings! Anyone who has ever done any travelling outside of WNY knows that Buffalo style wings arent even close to the real deal right? Watertown NY uses grade A pigeons I think. 30 of those things are about the same as 3 Duffs wings. Anyways, the Wings from Philly are coming to town Saturday nite along with a bunch of their fans (friends of mine mostly so be nice). Well, we're the KINGS of Wings and we need to make Philly understand that yet again. Dallas Eliuk can't handle the suicidal wings at Duffs and he won't be able to handle the sizzling moves of AJ, JT, Accursi and Stiener. Drew Candy and Jason Clark used to play for Philly, now they can't wait to sink their teeth into Bandit style wings. OK folks, get your tickets, bring your appetite, and tell me where we should deepfry these Wings when were done.

I just bought my father one of those big turkey friers, we can probably fit the entire Wings roster in there...once we get all of Dallas's extra padding off! :poundu:

It's nice beating the Chickenhawks, but it is not nearly as good as beating the Wings. The teams have been rivals for so long, to me its the best rivalry in the NLL. And the Bandits still got to pay the Wings back for that lose in Philly last year. So bring on the Wings and watch the Bandits make it 2-0!

I hate Rochester more than any team in the NLL.
I hate Toronto for the most reasons.
But if the Bandits only win two games I would want them to be against the Wings. If you consider all the teams in the league, the oldest teams in the same city are Buffalo and Philly. Add to that those incredible championship games in the 90's and how could you not love this rivalry.

I would say Philly is the biggest rival of the Bandits, that is going back to the start of the team. And to me a rivalary takes time to develop. But any team in East can be considered a rival, the Hawks are only an hour away and always put up a fight, and the Rock are just as pesty.

Bumpin' this up to the top where it belongs. Tonite is the nite folks. Wings are in town tonite so i'm MAD! There's no love lost between these 2 teams. Both teams are 1-0 both by beating hapless Rochester. Yes I said Hapless, ya know, like the San Diego Chargers hapless! The Wings added some youth over the past 2 seasons and the return of that behemoth Jake Bergey isn't a bad thing for the Wings. Dalls Eliuk is trying to fool father time again this season. He's been a average road goalie over the years and the Coaching staff even sat him a couple times last season on the road. Coach Mueller must be looking over his shoulder every shift now with the return of Tony Resch as a defensive assistant. Many a fan in Philly are awaiting the inevitable behind the bench, Muller out, Resch back in.
If theres one thing i've learned over the years and the miles i've traveled it's lacrosse brings fans from all cities together for the greater good. Belive me, my 1st trip to Philly was nervewracking to say the least but it ended up one of the most memorable weekends i've ever had. I've built up some good friendships from here to Vancouver and back. The trash talk will always be there but the so will the beers after the game.
If you go to the game tonite and see some Wings fans, shake their hands and wish 'em good luck. Believe it or not, most of 'em in Philly do that with us. It's too bad most of their Fan Club is skipping this trip for a football game. The Wobblestone could have exceeded their fire limit!

Kev, you should know that buying beer in PA is always a pain in the a$$ so I'm bringin' my own this time. I'll make sure you get my room # for when ya get there. Timetable isn't set yet. BTW, If Nadelin and Henderson are your best fighters, you folks in Philly should be ashamed. Nads got trashed and Henderson is a joke. See ya in 18 days brother!

That is true what you say about the beer here in Pa, Mac. The Bandits can win all the fights, Wings will win on the scoreboard.
Oh one more thing Mac, "The Bet" is on. Buffalo fans always look good in silver and black.

Kev, 2 things. 1, that bet is between you and Deb, not I. 2, Silver and black looks good on nobody! Although it's a bit better than Purple and TEAL!!!! See ya on the 31st.

Yes I know Mac, I was just reminding you, since you have to ride home with her. :D As for your silver and black comment. I remember a certain someone wearing that silver and black jersey in Rochester last season. :D
