It's also an interesting, fitting omen that AJ the rookie's third goal turned out to be the winner along with the 3 or 4 Johnny WHO assists.

Yea very awesome game. I asked the people at guest services where the horn was and she said she was wondering too maybe it was broken and i said well it workd at the stupid sabres game last night and she got mad oh well, i wish it would been there, it just felt werid without it. Aj Shannon is awesome his goal for just inside the yellow line was amazing. I was hoping to see Laverty or Powell but guess not. Oh well it was awesome.

last nite they played a good game. shannon had a great debut and showed a lotta potential. great draft choice. steenhuis is an animal and played with a lotta intensity and heart. i was truely impressed. chugger impressed me when he gopt up and continued to play and played i thought better after he got decked. true heart and love of the game. JT, Accursi and Derks played a good first game. they didnt score to much but they did show the younger players the ropes. marks of true leaders. i wish the horn would have been on. it adds to the excitement of the game. i was at the sabres game the nite before and the horn was workin perfectly fine. i have no idea what was up. i was also happy with the amount of ppl that showed up. 8595 great numbers for a first game that we won, so maybe well get more fans next game. keep it up boys, wings ur next.....

I'm not much of a Bandits fan but a Rock a fan but I know someone who went to the game and said at best their were only 7000 fans, is there anybody who could confirm this for me. BTw, I do hope the bandits become more succesful at gate and on the field because then toronto and buffalo can really have a good rivarly between themselves going.

manuel, the attendence at the game was about 8595. it was a pretty good crowd seeing as the sabres were on tv that nite...

Mike, couldn't agree with ya more. The only time I took a good look around was after they announced the attendance. To me it looked like last seasons crowd which was advertised as 7k roughly per game. I'm not there to "guesstimate" the attendance, i'm there to see a game. Manuel, I have friends from the Toronto area and I know at least 1 of 'em has to make a big "to-do" about the attendance numbers. I can't see the concern in it. If I had my own personal concession stand set up then maybe i'd care about the #'s. But since they won't let me have a beerstand I guess it's not an issue. Whatever the case may be, i'll be at the games with "a buncha" friends and we'll watch the Bandits crush the Rock, clip the Wings, screw over the Hawks and cheat and steal their way to another World Championship!:applause:
