Player Nicknames

OK Bandit fans, Darris gave us a job this past summer. We need to come up with some killer nicknames for player intros this season. Post 'em here and if they rate well i'll fire 'em off to Darris.
Submit a player or the whole roster (as far as we know it right now) and i'll sort through it and get the best of the best.

OK, I admit it. I have WAYYY to much free time here. Heres the current (as of this posting) roster of Bandit players. Some on this roster may not be signed as of yet and there will be additions and subtractions made as I get 'em. Props have been given to suggested nicknames and duplicates are OK (i.e. 2 or 3 nicks to a player) Darris wants some good ones this season that will get used during the player intros. Darris and Troy did most of 'em last year but they'd be better off focusing on the other guys and letting us, the rabid, stonecrazed fans earn our part of the team! So here we go, 11 days 'til the home opener!

I think some of you are missing the point here ... we're not looking for the existing nicknames of the players ... we're looking for some new ones that can be used by the announcer during player introductions ... kind of along the same lines as what the coaches did last year when they chose a funny nickname for a particluar player or two ... like Corey Monkey Bum Quinn ..... for each game.

Yes, some of those nicknames mentioned should not ever be changed, and we're not trying to change them. We just want the players to wonder who's next and what they'll be called when it's their turn.

An update!

Last week I e-mailed the nicknames to Darris, after a bit of editing. I was hoping to hear some of our suggestions before the ChickenHawk game last friday. Didn't hear 'em. So after the game I catch Darris at the PGP and ask him, "did ya get the 'nicknames' e-mail I sent ya?" Darris, in his own "colorful" way of saying things, " AW bleepin blank bleep! I just knew I shoulda checked my bleepin blankin'blank bleepin' e-mail today, son of a BLEEP". So needless to say he didn't but he said he'll have it for Saturdays game for sure. Folks, the look on his face was CLASSIC. He needs us fans to keep the momentum going. We had 9005 there last friday nite, we can do better. Call out all the people you can get, get to the game on saturday and make some NOISE! Get there early to hear some of our very own suggestions during intros. Where else can we do crazy stuff like that?
