Brian Campbell needs to be buried so far in the minors that you won't even be able to see his stats in the hockey news.
How has Ruff decided to play him over Delmore. Sure, Delmore isn't Ray Bourque or anything - but I've seen 5 year olds play between intermissions that look more like they belong on that ice than Campbell.
He's got about 2 moves he does real well though, I'll give him some credit:
1) No one is better in the NHL at taking a soft dump in and blindly flinging it straight up the middle with absolutely no strength behind it.
2) No one looks worse on the wrong end of a 2-on-1 - see tonight's highlights.

Man, he cant carry the puck at all throught the middle of the ice, he'll either get taken off the puck, or give it away. Send him back to rochester, quickly.

I got a laugh out of his unassisted fall to the ice last night during one of the many dull stretches of that game. I think I'll skip the 2 Devils home games next year, although the drunk guy next to me was funny. He didn't like McKee. Me niether.

That play summed up our season to date.

Brian Campbell = Too small. He's got to have something special to overcome that. A guy like Hawgood would take your head off if he could and Routsalanen <sp> could move the puck. Campbell's kind of allright offensively but there's not enough there.

They should try him at forward like the Bluejackets did with Jean-?Luc Grand Pierre and see what he can do, he seems way more offenisve minded, he might fit in well as a 4th liner....

As of late, which defenseman has played good. Man I go down the list and see that they are all awful lately.

I dont know what the fuss is about, Kalinin is the worst of the group by far. Game in and game out I see him getting shook right out of his jock, or getting spun like a revolving door.
