Rich Gannon was placed on IR, thus ending his season. I think he is finished now and possibly Brown and Rice will follow.
Anyone else think these old timers are gonna hang 'em up?

For the good of the Raiders and their fans, I would hope so.

I dont knwo wut to think of this. In ways i want all the old players to leave i mean it clears up cap space and we can do some serious damage in the free agent periods. But i really just cant let go. I mean Tim brown was the reason i became a raiders fan he has been there forever. I just cant see some other rookie reciver take number 81

It was the same feeling here when Kelly, Reed, Thurman, and Bruce left.

Well, Gannon is 38 years old, and will be coming off of major injury problems...Jerry Rice could play into his 50's in the right system with the right coaches and offensive coordinator and OLINE for his QB...Tim Brown still has a good year or 3 left, maybe, and might catch on somewhere like Detroit...

Gannon might be done, but even if the other 2 are done as raiders, they will mostly likely play somewhere else. This offseason may be the time for a regime change oakland.

Hmm that's stinks for gannon, but i'm glad I got rid of him from my fantasy league as soon as he got hurt. Someone else ended up picking him up for nothing. Right now the raiders are only playing for pride.
