yea, yea, yea, I know I'm supposed to not post for a while, but some times I just can't help myself.
The "Flutie controversy" is happening again, and yes, flutie's winning it again! It's just so funny it kills me.
Go to signonsandiego.com to the chargers forum and watch as "Realfan" has fun at the expense of the "Brees excusers" and the "brees enablers". I NEVER thought I'd get so much fun out of the same old shstick but I am. It's even more fun over there because now Flutie is old, slow AND weak. It's great.
It's just wonderful to be ME.

Fun often isnt important. Being the poor guy is banned from posting on here, I am glad he has somewhere else to work his schtick. It's like Rob Johnson, while I am glad he isnt with us anymore, I also am happy for him that he's getting a chance to help somewhere else.

It was wishful thinking, but you must be thrilled he looked good against a less than average defense just like when brian griese carved up the chargers but has played poorly against better defenses. Let's see how th elf does against a better defense.

Blah blah blah, not Flutie, blah blah blah, strong running game, blah blah blah, all defense, blah blah blah, weak opponent, blah blah blah.
Still sticking up for Rob? Admit it Flutie was and is better.

There must be something wrong with your eyesight because I have stated before that rob isn't a very good qb at this point and flutie is the better one. Feel better? Can I get you a lollypop?

Heheh, I suppose you know him personally? Well, like I've said before, the teams he plays for don't seem to agree with you. Also, I would say that many people and children involved with charities, such as those for autism, would not agree. Have you seen Flutie work with kids with autism? You know, to be honest, the way you talk, I'd have to say you're an arrogant ***** yourself. Also, your predictions stink....

Macleoud's normally a decent guy. He, along with many, have been abused by ravenous RJ haters on here, so I can understand his frustration with pro-Doug material even though I disagree with him.

No I don't. Do you know Terrell Owens personally? Probably not, but everyone knows he's a jerk. At least professional wise. He just shows it. I won't even go into the charity thing. I said he could be a jerk, but I didn't say he was evil. Disliking him at the professional stand point is different from not liking him as an individual. I never met him, but I can tell he's a lousy professional. He really had no choice to get involved with those things since his son is autistic. I feel really bad for any child that has to go through that. But wait a minute? Didn't rob also dedicate his time to hospitals and charities too? Yes he did, but the people around here don't believe it and hate the guy all around and still think he's a jerk. My predictions? Well it was only wishful thinking, but i'm not realistic you know.

Thanks J, but you know the real problem is how everybody claims he did nothing wrong, and that when the team he's on wins, he did it by himself. When the team loses, it wasn't his fault at all. He gets too much credit even against lousy defenses. It's amazing how this guy get's a free pass all the time. It's injust. I don't like the guy as a professional, but I don't hate the guy as in invidual because I don't know him personally.

Hmm, your retort about Terrell Owens completely missed my point. But, for that matter, I have actually seen Flutie work with kids and met the man. And I will say from that experience he certainly seemed to have a positive effect on the individuals he was around. But if you want to say that someone is a jerk in their professional careers, then you'd better put it that way. By no means did I enter this argument to bash Rob Johnson. If you recall, I responded to this thread after you "bashed" Flutie in response to Realistic's quote. Besides a few incidents mentioned by Bills players that seemed to involve Johnson and Flutie, I can't think of anything else that was in the news regarding bad behavior by either QB (although, now that I think about it, there were many reports about Johnson not spending enough time preparing for games). I'm not sure how you can equate Owens to Flutie. I have a feeling you are sometimes confusing arrogance and confidence. Yes, Flutie appears arrogant when he's playing football, but, heck, sometimes that might just be confidence. That's something I wish Bledsoe showed a bit more of (not that I want Flutie to return to Buffalo). I also think you sometimes should check your facts a bit more, because, for example, when you say Flutie didn't thank the fans, etc., you are completely incorrect. In any case, go on with your hatred of Flutie if you must, but to me he was an important part of the last two winning Buffalo teams.

Fezz, For never meeting him, do you think I would rip as an individual? As a fan I just know him from a professional view and from everything i've read over time he's a lousy professional. I'm sorry If I did not specify so it could come across to you. Regardless, he's still a jerk. Owens is a jerk, right? We all know professionaly he's a jerk. Flutie is a jerk professionally. That comparison is not hard to understand. Confidence has been mistaken with arrogance many times, but in the cfl he had an attitude problem, which displayed arrogance some players didn't like. Anothing thing, I never said anything about flutie not thanking the fans. You're confusing me with someone else.

In horse racing when the horse you bet on loses you tear up the ticket and get ready for the next race. RJ fans are still trying to convince the judges that every other horse in the race scratched.

Im my opinion Flutie Flakes are the most stubborn, obsessed and in denial fans of any sport. I remember the time many flakes called into the tv stations for them to carry chargers games after he left so they can see that elf every sunday. Simply Amazing. Before some flake decides to call me a johnsonite, At least I can admit rob's not perfect and a lousy qb.You might as well call me a bledsoite and a kellyite because i'll back and hope good things for any present and former bills player that just did their jobs when they were told to, didn't cause a rift in the team and didn't whine and complain if they lost their spot.

What's white matter? What if he were a 41 yr old black mulletted midget? Would it make a difference, or more of an inspiration? Maybe 41 year old African-American midgets(sorry, dwarfs), with mulletts would stand up and be recognized. Just kidding J, had to do it.

Can African-Americans even have mullets? Anyhow, to answer your question before BT or someone misinterprets it, I need someone I can relate to and remember when I start to get in DF's age range. It's a lot easier for me to picture myself as Doug Flutie than Fridge Perry. :)
