The 1995-96 Bulls own that record. It's an amazing record that will be hard to reach or break, but can the Lakers do it? They're loaded with talent. I can't see it happening, but they'll make it interesting.

They won't. The Bulls that year had no issues with chemestry or ball-distribution. The Lakers should win 60 games, but will have some issues when pressed defencivly. And the West is too good overall. The Suns, Grizzlies, Kings, Rockets, Spurs and T-Wolves will all beat you on nights when you don't play a top game.

It could never happen in the West. Not with the Spurs, Mavs, T-Wolves, Kings, Suns, Rockets and Blazers all in the same conference. The New Jersey Nets would have a better chance just because the East is weaker, but I don't think anyone will even come close to that record.

Not going to happen. If this Laker team faced that 95-96 Bulls squad, they would get crushed by the Bulls.
