Yes and from a Bills perspective it was awesome for the Pats to win, Miami now has 1 division loss.

Yeh, the Pats are looking nasty right now despite all the injuries.
If they get some people healthy, and they still got Cryami&Buffalo at home in December....they have to be the new favorites in the division.

BTW - just in case nobody has noticed....Ricky Williams is not having a great season.

His numbers are horrid. Nice post. Also, the Dolphins blow. We beat ourselves worse in the Sunday night game, and we will maul them in Buffalo. At that point, it won't really matter as they will already have played themselves out of it.

I have to disagree with you on one point. I was one of the one's on Ricky's genitals after that game. The reason was that carrying the ball for 40+ times in extreme humidity is ballsy and difficult. His YPC was extremely mediocre, but I did give him credit for the heart he showed. He was getting stronger as the game went on.

Nice coverage by Sammy Knight and Marion on the TD play. Miami got caught sleeping. I don't think they expected NE to take it long. They were looking for NE to dink, dunk and use the same short passing and running mix they usually run. Credit to NE, they certainly have gotten the most out of the people who are still ambulatory after all the injuries they have had.

Well..as long as the Pats continue to get fumbles bouncing back to them and field goals missed and turnovers come in dozens like vs. the Giants..they'll be great in December. If they need to rely on good offense..they're screwed, just like the Bills will be if the offense doesnt play well.

The Phins 1st field goal was blocked by Seymour, not "missed". The second one never should have happened due to Thompson's mystery catch down the sideline. Quit complaining about how lucky the Pats got.

Good points. Not to mention - the Bills got their share of "turnovers and missed FG's" when they played Miami; but it didn't do us any good. You gotta capitalize on your opportunities, ya know?

Hey..Im a Bills fan..and I agree..both teams sucked..the Pats just sucked a little less :) Try that against the Bills defense and they'll be putting up a big fat "0" again..just like at the Ralph!!

Yeah, the Bills defense is very good. So are Miami's and NE's. I have no excuses for week 1, the Bills kicked their ass. However, your cockiness is not very wise this early in the season.

You may find September's slaughter harder to replicate in December.

Let me guess, you didn't watch the game right? Brady made several great throws. Miami has a very good defense. It was a slugfest. Don't try to belittle Brady and the Pats. I don't see any Pats fans trying to take anything away from the Bills victory.

Hey you guys might enjoy this. As I was watching that Red Sox vs Yankees game (I'm a Red Sox fan) and the Yankees started to come back in the 8th inning I told my wife that being a Miami Dolphins fan I know a meltdown when I see one and this is a meltdown. She is an avid Boston sports fan (Pats :( and Sox) so needless to say she was pissed off when I was right.
