Its not the MILL anymore, its the NLL. It has been the National Lacrosse League since 1998. Same league, but the MILL owned the teams, now each team has its own owner, with TG owning the Buffalo Bandits. The league has expanded and lost teams over the years, now with 10 teams, and only 4 on the east coast (Philly, Rochester, Toronto and Buffalo). The west has Colorado, Vancover, Calgary, and three relocated teams in San Jose, Anahiem, and Phoenix. It looks to be a good year for the Bandits who made it to the second round of the playoffs last year, and look to bring back the same team with Ryan Powell back after missing a year to injury.

It is going to be great just watching the bench this year. Darris, Troy, and now Sanderson on the bench. Those three are some of the most emotional coaches I have ever seen. I just want to know which of the three gets thrown out first.

thanks for the thread :D i can't wait for the upcoming season. i just want tickets to go on sale to renew my season tickets and pick up a few more season seats for friends that enjoyed it so much they wanted them. hey this is for everyone; for 10 bucks you can't beat the fun u get at a bandits game. the also were undefeated at home last year (8-0) so come on down and have some good old, NLL fun.

Start the season, I have seen enough of our football and hockey teams already. I want to see a winner, a team who gives a damn if they lose. I want to see a team who is well coached, who can play defense, and a team that can score. A team that is giving out the big hits, not a team like the Sabres who is taking the hits then retailiating. It should be good this season, and the hated Knighthawks come to town for the season opener for the Bandits.

But that's OK, I guess I'd hate the team that punked me out of the playoffs (again).

Well in all honesty, I'm now colser to Buffalo than Rochester so I'll probably catch a good number of Bandits games. I hope the team does well and more importantly I hope the moderators of this borad make a Bandits Forum for the great fans of Buffalo to use.

Right on hittrain! It's definitely time that the Bandits get some better exposure in this town. Especially in light of the "progress" that our other professional sports teams are making. The best part about it is that the tickets are wicked cheap. Want seasons? the top price is $160 for the season and that might even go down this year. and for a team who went to the championship semi-finals last year, you'd think this town would definitely grab on to that since everyone loves a winner.

Hope to see more talk and maybe a forum just for the bandits on this site!

For those that arrived at this thread by accident. Do yourself a favor and find out what a real sport is all about. Discover that these players that leave it all on the floor game in game out, on average do it for under $600.00 a game. We are not talking multi-million dollar prema-donnas here but down to earth joe work guy. After saying that I would put their athletic ability against any player in any pro sport. To top it all off, what other pro sport can you go after the game and have a beer with your favorite player. NLL Lacrosse has it all, speed, high scoring, physical rough stuff and best of all great fans and players. For your hard earned dollar this cannot be beat for real entertainment. HANDS DOWN.

The league is AMAZING.

Having made a horrible attempt at putting the pads on, I can tell you these guys are among the best athletes in the world. They are all very good men and really love the sport and aprreciate the fans that love it too. Anyone who lives in Buffalo better get out and take a look at the Bandits. Make it opening night and you'll see about 300 Rochester fans from down the Thruway(one from Ohio).

Just a note guys, even before I worked for this site, I've wanted a Bandits forum.

After the Destroyers forum flopped, the site's brass may be hestitant. So, mattky, tell your friends at the yahoo fanclub to come over here too.

I'll put my biggest push yet, for a Bandits forum, in our employees forum and it'll be up in no time. We'd need some new mods then, too.;)

Billsman is working on an NBA forum as we spea--er--type.

i cant wait for the upcoming season. i want tix to go on sale soon so i can pick mine up with my friends. its great to have a place to talk with people from around the area about the bandits. the nll site is great but theres not to many hometowners.
