Way to go. Do you know if there were bny boos from the french crowd towards him being an American. Also with him being a fellow Texen with W.
Just wondering? If not very classy by the french people, its not the best of times as we all know.

Most of the fans cheered him for the entire 2000 miles.
He's looked at as an icon in France since he's got 5 in a row, the cycling fans who line the roads appreciate him for his greatness.
IMO he's the greatest athlete of my generation.
