do you guys think the Sabres are a playoff team next year? I say no but i think they will be exciting, they are a bit young to last the whole year in my opinion. Atleast they are doing something, my leafs will stay the same next year and go out early in the playoffs again

It all comes down to goaltending.

The Sabres need to tweak their 3rd and 4th lines and their defense and goaltending.

We're a BIG Center away from the playoffs - need to replace Gratton's size with a body. Dump Brown - Afinogenov - Dumont - Connolly for someone of stature.

Perhaps, this makes us kind of small up the middle. But if there are some bigger wingers on their lines, it may not matter.

Gaustad played well in his cup of coffee last year. He just has to play physical and be defensively responsible. He can certainly do that. And if not, we have Begin.

Why do they need some one big? They need some one good. gratton was big but he sucked. Adam Creighton was big but he couldn't play. I want players who play big, they don't necessarily have to be big.

I agree. It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog. Drury plays bigger than he is. Same with Briere.
