Wings sign Derian Hatcher.

I guess some radio station in Detroit reported that the Wings have signed Free agent Derian Hatcher. This was reported on Team 1270 radio in Detroit. A press conference at 3pm is scheduled to announce the sign.

This move disturbs me more than Marchant. I feel he would have made an awesome Sabre, adding the toughness we want from Boulton & Warrener with a tad more talent.

With a $30 million budget I don't see how the Sabres could have outbid Detroit's $6 million per year offer and put a solid team together.
