Intro by JoeMama: I think its safe to say that Jro is an integral member here at BBI. He has some breakthru ideas that have really added to the quality of discussion on these boards. His interviews are novel & his write-ups spark quite a bit of debate. So without further adea, I give you Jro--the interview!
Joe: The Iraq situation is getting bleak. No weapons of mass destruction have been found. Protests are breaking out. Small conflicts are emerging. The Shiite majority want their own form of government. Bringing democracy to Iraq may turn out to be harder than it seems. Was the invasion worth it or have we again wasted our time trying too hard to be the world police?
Jro: I think is sucks that we haven’t found any WMD’s yet… And I hope we do soon, but I think people need to give the coalition time… We are still meeting resistance and searching for weapons isn’t a top priority yet… I actually expected the new form of government to take awhile so that doesn’t surprise me at all… In many ways the demonstrations of Iraqis telling us to “hurry up and get out” is proof that democracy is starting be become reality for them… Overall I think the invasion was worth it… The actually fighting went better then anyone expected and that leaves us more time for struggles in the after war campaign!
Joe: You seem to agree with mattrose that Biblical creationism is correct. What is your biggest beef with evolution? Do you feel that the Bible & evolution can be compatible?
Jro: My biggest beef with evolution is that it would still require a creator at one point… I think the theory of evolution is a strong theory… If I didn’t have so much faith I think I would believe it… There are still major gaps that need to be filled in and I don’t think they can be… I do not think that evolution and the bible can be compatible… Genesis clearly explains how the bible says Man was created… It’s sad when people give into science because they don’t know enough to argue against it…
Joe: John Ashcroft is controversial figure. He draped Lady Justice, he thinks black babbies are a sign of the devil, & he gets annointed with cooking oil everytime he take office. He also prides himself on fighting pornography. How do you feel about him & is he correct to try to criminalize obscenity?
Jro: Ashcroft is my least favorite person in the bush administration… A lot of his controversial things needed to be done because of terrorism… But some things he does aren’t good for the country… Obesity should not be criminalized; pornography should have tight restrictions because I think it corrupts our society… Some of the things many people hate about him are not true… He gets a bad rap, but he doesn’t defended himself very often so I won’t defend him either…
Joe: I don't know if you have a girlfriend or not... But what would constitute your "perfect woman"? What would she look like? What interests would she have?
Jro: Her interest would have to be music (rap) movies, and she would have to have similar political opinions as I do… I don’t actually have a specific type of women… So I will post 3 girls who look very different but I think are very attractive… Oh and BironsGirl of course:D

Joe: Political correctness seems to be the bane of your existence. What measures would you take to keep PC initiatives in control? Also, do you believe the PC agenda is mostly a liberal one? If so, why?
Jro: I would say Political Correctness is mostly a Far Left ideology… I don’t think mainstream liberals or conservative agree with the radical PC polices… I started to be against Political Correctness when I saw a family in my textbook eating dinner; at the table was a Chinese women, African American Man, White boy, and an Arab girl in a wheel chair… I think it’s gone to far! To contain the PC agenda I would limit the power of special interest groups and encourage congress to not cave in…
Joe: The president's approval ratings have dropped slightly. What do you think about his economic stimulus plan? Do you believe its working? Do you think the state of the economy will cost him the 2004 election?
Jro: I do not see Bush having a problem getting re-elected… The only problem average voters could have with Bush is the economy and job creation, and I think both will be improving noticeably before election time… Dow is over 9,000 it’s getting better!
Joe: You identify yourself as a conservative. What specific issue (or issues if there isn't only one) do you feel strongest about? Why do you feel this way?
Jro: I think abortion is a major issue for conservative views… It’s the biggest difference between liberals and conservatives in my view… And I hope that Roe vs. Wade gets overturned… But I doubt it will… And even if it isn’t im happy about Partial birth abortion being stopped…
Joe: In the realm of spirituality, you are a devout Christian it seems. What evidence do you see for the existence of a God? What evidence to you see for the legitimacy of Christ being the Son of God? What makes you such a strong believer?
Jro: I do not think there is proof of god other then the fact that I am here… I think god intended belief in him to be faith based… I am a Christian because I was born into a Christian family and now that I am old enough to think for myself I accept the bible… And I am thankful for growing up in a Christian home…
Joe: Lets kill three birds with one stone. What is your favorite movie? Favorite musical group? Favorite book?
Jro: Favorite movie would be Shawshank Redemption, I like rap so Eminem or 50 Cent… and im not a huge reader but I enjoy Bill O’reillys books…
Joe: If you were president for a day & had the ability to change ONE thing about America, what would it be?
Jro: I would turn the INS upside down and get some real security for this wonderful country…
