Today's interview is with BironsGirl43... She is one of my favorite posters because she is so friendly... Sometimes i think she just reads threads to laugh at us for getting so worked up over issues...

Jro: Were you in favor of Canada staying out of the War in Iraq?
BG: Well to be honest.. I didn't think that.. that whole thing was a very big deal. I didn't really care for it and for the longest time.. I didn't really have an opinion but looking back on it now.. yeah I wish Canada would have done more for the U.S being strong allies and what not.. but I thought it was also necessary for Canada to show they had a backbone and for once.. do something other than what the U.S wanted us to do. I know that sounds harsh but when you're called things like pushovers or America's little sister.. taking a stand for something sort of helps show that that may not be entirely true.. am I making sense?

Jro: If no WMD's are found in Iraq, Was the war called for?
BG: If it helped free the Iraqi people and it liberated them.. Then yeah I guess so.. but if nothing has changed.. What was the point? Was it all about the oil? Hmm.. Anyways I don't really like or understand wars.. I wish they never had to happen

Jro: What are your thoughts on abortion?
BG: Well, I don't think abortion should be used as a form of birth control. But I think under some circumstances (like rape, the baby threatening the life of the mother or some abnormality that would make for a hard life) it should be allowed.

Jro: As a women do you feel there are enough women in politics?
BG: To be honest.. Politics don't really interest me at all. I don't study it and I don't really care for it. So, I don't exactly know how many women are in right now and what their roles are like. But, I think jobs and things should be given to the person most qualified.. gender aside.. it shouldn't make a difference.

Jro: What are your thoughts on affirmative action?
BG: Affirma-what!?! LOL.. I learned about this in Law under Section 15 of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.. Which is Equality Rights.. Is this the same thing? If so.. Then yeah it's a good thing.. Any effort to eliminate discrimination against a group is a good thing.

Jro: Are you religious? And what are your thoughts about other world religions?
BG: No, I am not really religious at all. I come from a Roman Catholic family but my parents were never strict and they never forced anything on me so I don't really follow it. I am not one of those people that need to pray and what not to feel fulfilled. I am happy just the way I am. Now on to other people's religions.. hmm.. it's really all okay with me. People can believe what they want if it makes them happy. Different strokes for different folks. I don't judge people on their religion. I also think people can be religious and follow what the want but at the same time.. They should be accepting of other people's beliefs as well..

Jro: Do you think that there is to much sex in main stream media?
BG: Yeah.. I think so. It's all over the place.. in magazines.. in movies.. in music videos. Yikes.. I don't recall things ever being this way. But sex sells.. so I don't think things will be changing any time soon..

Jro: Where do you get your news?
BG: A little bit from everywhere. TV, internet and newspapers are usually where I look.. and in the paper.. I'm usually checking out the comics, entertainment and sports section.. haha..

Jro: What is something about yourself that people may not know?
BG: Hmmm.. I've been dancing since I was 6.. I started out as a ballerina and since then have done many different types of dance.. I'm currently involved with Hip Hop and it is definitely a fave of mine. I was invited to join the Toronto Argonauts Dance Team but I declined.

Jro: What poster do you respect the most?
BG: Oh gosh.. There are so many.. I can't really narrow it down. But I really like Bogus Trumper and Jaded. But then there's also JoeMama and EricStratton and Reeves and.. I'll stop now.. hahah.. but I really like a lot of the people.. they teach me a lot about things... I have nothing but the utmost respect for them:D

Hey BT!!

The Argo thing was just after a dance competiton.. I was approached by a lady and some man and they wanted to talk to me.. they just talked about what it's like.. they said they'd love for me to join.. I would have to do it 2 times a week (1 day-Wed is the practice.. Sunday-the game).. they tried to get me all into it by saying.. "Imagine the thrill of performing infront of 20 000 people" etc.. stuff like that.. and no I can't really fit it in.. I'm going to just focus on school work and stuff.. I can't be bothered driving to and fro T.O.. plus I don't even like the Argos.. I just can't do it.. it's not for me..

Good student? Well.. my average is about 85-86% which is pretty good I guess.. I'm not a genius or anything.. I'm not the smartest kid in the class.. but I'm decent..

Committed.. I hope so.. I want to teach like elementary school kids.. like grade 5 or 6 (10-11 year olds):)

Thanks.. but I could have gotten into schools on dance scholarships and milked dance for all it's worth.. but I didn't.. I made no mention of it when I applied to Universities and things.. I wanted to make it alone on just my academic stuff.. because what I want to do doesn't have anything to do with dance anyway.. I think of it as just something I do for fun.. and I'm pretty good at it....
