Now Arizona is hurting badly. No Randy Johnson, no Curt Schilling, now what will they do? Will they try to trade away Finley or someone else?

Do they now regret trading Kim?

One thing thats sure is that they have a tough time ahead of them and the bats and young pitchers need to step it up.

Schilling broke his hand after he was struck by a line drive from the bat of Burroughs. He was earlier struck by the ball when he tried fielding a line drive hit up the middle with his bare hand.

I don't think Kim would make a difference with both the Big Unit and Schilling in the DL. The D-Backs are built around those two guys, and with both of them down, it does not look for for them. Plus the Diamondbacks needed a third baseman after letting Matt Williams go.

Bottom Line: The D-Backs don't have anywhere near the hitting to compete with San Fran or Colorado in the NL West, nor the pitching and defence to get past the Dodgers. Without Schill and Unit winning every 5 days, there is no way the D-Backs get a sniff of the postseason, and since both of them are down with injury, the D-Backs are a laughable roster.

Having Kim wouldn't matter, they need to go young and rebuild their offence, bullpen, and back end of their rotation.

I know he is not a great pitcher, but Brian Anderson is gone to Cleveland, so that is another person gone from Arizona's starting rotation of last year.

And Todd Stottlemeyer never recovered. I'm more bummed 'cuz he's my horse of one of my fantasy teams. As much as I dislike Arizona, he's one guy i've always liked. I like the fact he smashed that strike-zone monitor camera too.
