Who likes it?

If you like it... Is it cool now the way MLB does it?

Are changes needed?

Should it be gone, gone, gone?

It really waters down the importance of the All-star game. Players dont care anymore.

I like interleague play. I like the way MLB is changing the teams each team is playing so the Jays are playing the Cubbies and not the NL East each year. Plus they still keep the teams best rivals, so the Yankees play the Mets, the Dodgers and Rally Monkeys, A's vs. Giants, and the Cubbies and White Sox. As for them great Devil Rays vs. Brewers games, it is no worse then watching the Indians vs. the Tigers, and they seem like thats all they have been doing is paying each other. Now if MLB would get the DH for both leagues, interleague play would be even better. I see no intrest in watching some pitcher who has not batting talent swing and miss at three Randy Johnson fastballs.

Yeah,I like it,because its fun to watch the Subway matchup between the Yanks and Mets. They also have the other matchups Snarf mentioned. It could also be previews of possible World Series matchups, depending on whos playing who. Im really glad they have interleague play, because the other Big 3 have it,too so why not? They should have put this in a long time ago imo.

The novelty has worn off for me - I liked it at first, but I would stop it now.

I love interleague play, but after 4 years, why have the yankees not faced the dodgers? Thats a farce

I like it. I thought it was cool how Boston and Pittsburgh wore those throwback uniforms. The Yankees playing at Wrigley for the first time since 1938 (? or somethin like that). As long as from year to year the mix up the match ups I like it

I like the interleague play, but the fact that the teams play different teams in the other league can benefit or hurt teams that are in a close pennant race. If at the end of the season the Red Sox win by a game or two - then the fact that the Sox got to play both the Brewers and Pirates could be a major factor in the Yankees and/or Blue Jays. having to watch the Series on television.

As of Jun 12th - There is a 1 game difference between 1st and 3rd place in the American League East.

The average win/loss of the competion that the Sox, Yankees and Blue Jays are facing - based on each three game interleague match up.

Boston is facing teams with an average win/loss of 31.3 - 33.5

New York is facing teams with an average win/loss of 33.2 - 31.3

Toronto is facing teams with an average win/loss of 34.5 - 30.2

This doesn't appear like a big difference - but to make the difference in averages closer, it would take a change like having the Sox play the Atlanta Braves instead of the Brewers.

All these rainouts are killing it. It makes for bad double-headers.
