View Full Version : How do you wear your hat???

what do you do with your hat?
Im asking do you bend the brim or leave it straight. If you bend it do you have a really big curv or is it small.
Do you keep your brim pointing to the middle, left, right, backwards, backward left, backward right.
The reason im asking this is i have been wearing a hat today and i was wondering how everyone keeps it.

Bend the cap, keep it away from eyes. I have to show the ladies my pretty eyebrows.

I put a slight bend in mine just because it's more comfortable that way. I always thought the extreme cap bend looked stupid, but I notice a lot of people do. I have a friend who bends it so much it's like a half cylinder. He says it's cool. He's a lot cooler than me so I'll have to defer, but to me it looks stupid.

I don't wear hats--they cause baldness.

When I wear a hat, it's a big bend, slightly slanted to the left, 'cause I'm a thug.
Most of the time I'm capless and showing off the baby blues, though. Plus I don't want to go bald.

When I'm cruising around in my hot whips and chillin' with my dirty, I wear them old school hats (pistons or celtics for shizzle!) and do NOT bend the brim... this is crucial if you want to be hip-hop. Leaving the tag on is also a good effect.

HA! You're right about the tag but if you really, truly wanna be a gangsta you need a bend in the brim. I know what you see in the videos but a true thugsta must have his eyes almost completely shaded so 5-0 can't see that he's been smokin' trees.

I'm addicted to "Many Men (Wish Death Upon Me)." That's one of the best hip-hop songs I've heard in a long time. Instant classic.

Hats don't cause baldness, that's a myth.
A silly one at that.
Allopecia normally occurs around the temples first, which is also where a hat would apply mild, mild pressure. But hats also apply equal pressure behind the head where it is virtually physically impossible to bald. People errantly link to two together but it is soley genetics.

I never leave the house without a hat on. I put a bend in it by wetting the brim, putting a baseball in it, and putting rubberbands around it till it dries. My Blue Jays hat has a perfect bend, and fits great, but it is starting to look and smell pretty bad. I am afraid to wash it and mess it up. Hopefully my new Jays hat with the new logo will be here this week, and about a year from now it will fit good.
Okay, while on hats, what's up with people wearing mesh hats again, they look so stupid?

Well, in cockney rhyming slang jockey whips are chips, the English version of what are now known as Freedom fries. And dirty is slang for 10. (Dirty Den)

To answer the point of the thread I have a hat on most everyday. The brim is curved but not too much. The brim has to have at least 8 stitch rows to bend right IMO.
A hat causing baldness is just a lie told by bald guys.

Here are more myths about balding...
--Frequent shampooing leads to hair loss
--Hats and wigs cause hair loss
--100 strokes a day will create healthy hair
--Permanant hair loss is caused by perms and color treatments
--Shaving ones head will cause the hair to grow back thicker
--Standing on ones head will stimulate hair growth
--Stress causes permanant hair loss
--Hair loss only affects the elderly
--Hair loss only affects intellectuals

The intelligence one is super old. Hippocrates thought a man became bald when his hair fell out due to extreme use of his brain.

I've been told I have the thickest head of hair by the lady who cuts my hair. She's seen a lot of hair in her life so I feel pretty confident I won't go bald.

I wear my hat with a conservative brim bend over a bandana, one that matches the particular hat, with a slight tilt of the hat off-center to the right.
My favorite hat/bandana combos are my Old school New Era Angels hat (fitted) with a red bandana, my fitted black Falcons hat with a white bandana and my fitted old school Braves hat with a red or white bandana.

Find a pic of Brian Gionta, BG. He belongs to my church. Nice Catholic boy. I'll tell you when he's at the church carnival signing autographs.

Bald?? Jagr used to have that long hair and so did Chris Simon! *LOL*! Anyway, sometimes I wear a hat,but not often. When I do,I bend the brim a bit,I wear it forward so I can make a ponytail, and I usually cover my eyes. No reason - Just like it that way. :Cool3:
