I love how no one ever talks about the D-Backs 9th inning in their lone World Series as probably the greatest choke in sports history. Gee I wonder why?

Maybe because after you've won 4 out of 5 its not as big a choke when you don't win your 5th . . .

me too, Rivera was unhittable in playoffs from 97 - 2001. He had to have ! bad day, and a bloop is all it was

I think calling it the greatest choke in sports history may be a little much.

Maybe, but still if you're leading in the 9th and the "greatest" closer in MLB history takes the mound for the championship and gives up the winning runs, that has to be one of the great chokes in sports history. I don't care who you are that is worse then Buckner.

And I love the people who say "Yankees suck." If you hate the yankees,ok. But they do not suck, I hate the red sox, but don't think they suck, in fact I think they're pretty good, but i still hate them. Typical of buffalo fans, like the people who chanted "Ray Bourque sucks" at the arena during playoffs. Whether you like team or not, have respect for the things they accomplish.
