Thats just my opinion. I think it changed wrestling forever. It brought the "underground" style of wrestling to the mainstream. I wish it would come back. :whipper: :beatchair

RVD was the only reason I watched ECW. When he was the t.v. champ for like a year and a half. ALso Francine, and Dawn Marie were good reasons to watch.

ECW is, was, and most likely always will be my fondest memory of wrestling. I saw most of their shows that came through Buffalo in the late 90s, and the stars are guys who, despite popular lack of knowelge of them, are among the all time greats. Names like RVD, Sabu, Taz, The Franchise, Tommy Dreamer, New Jack, Balls Mahoney, Terry Funk, The Dudleyz (Spike, Bubba, Big Dick, Sign Guy, D-Von) Joey Styles, Sandeman, Steve Corino, Francine, Beulla, Bill Alphonso, Chris Candido, Justin Credible, Rhyno, Mike Awesome, Masato Tanaka, and others made up the most underrated corps of talent ever seen in professional wrestling. The matches are testimates to the will of these stars to go out and put life and limb on the line, for small audiences and even smaller paychecks. It was sad to see the end of ECW, but I will not forget them.
Still, THIS IS EXTREME!

I loved ECW unfortunately they weren't making enough $$$ to keep it up. I loved New Jack ans Sabu most of all. The Dudleys were great there, they were funny stuff. Joel Gertner too.
They use to go to Fall River, MA a lot and i never missed a show. I remember a few key moments. I was sitting next to a balcony and I had to help New Jack get up there to put someone through a table(Was a long time ago, cant remember who he put through table). Also during a tag team match the same night. The dudleys were fighting in the croud against Tazz and someone else (Cant remember) and there was a pile of chairs behind me, Buh Buh Ray said get me a *********G chair, so i said ******* YOU, so i finally gave it to him and he almost hit me with it, it was so great.
