I have read on a couple of places that Vince McMahon is adding all of these older wrestlers to boost ratings because he thinks that going "nostalgic" is how to do it. Do you guys like it? I don't really like it.

Who would these older wrestlers be.

As an outside wrestling fan who will probably see Backlash on sunday, I don't think it's an overly bad idea.

Maybe they could also bring back old style get-ups, set designs, and graphics as a sort of throwback motif once or twice a year. Sort of like the NFL on Thanksgiving.

As for wrestlers, there aren't too many they can bring back though, is there??

The wrestlers I was referring to were Piper, Snuka, I read somewhere that they are in talks with Sting and when he gets back from his current WWA tour he would be in WWE. Plus also featuring Hulk Hogan (who is coming back on TV as Mr. America).

Jarrett will never be back in the WWE. He burnt too many bridges. Lex Luger is horribly out of shape and won't be back either. Nor will Sid Vicious. He hasn't fully recovered from a horribly broken leg he suffered 2 years ago. The Godfather was a joke. Scott Hall lost his ninth life when he was released from the WWE last year due to personal problems. And Macho Man is soooo beyond his prime it's not funny. That said, seeing him back in the WWE wouldn't suprise me. He is the most likely out of that group.

Reported From WrestleZone....................

As odd as it sounds, Vince McMahon is said to be under the impression that nostalgia is what will fix all of the problems facing WWE.

McMahon is reportedly having fun bringing back old names from the past and using them regularly in today's storylines.

After bringing in Goldberg, Kevin Nash, Sable, Roddy Piper, and others, WWE is looking at bringing in Ultimate Warrior and Sting in the near future as well.

There have been rumors floating around that Sting could be in as soon as June. I hate to get my hopes up,but I hope it happens! :)

I highly doubt we'll ever see the Warrior again.

He was a favorite of mine back in the day, but he has nothing to offer now.

He would only do a few shows and then disappear, like he did in his last WWE run,and his last 2 WCW stints. Not worth it IMO.

The Warrior has been a joke for his whole career. He's come back to the sport on 3 seperate occasions, all 3 were disasterous failures. I sincerely hope that Vince McMahon doesn't make the big time mistake of trying to bring back this nobody again.

As for Sting, its now or never. He is getting older, and the fans of today are starting to forget about him. With ratings down, now is the time to go all out. I have no problem with seeing Sting in a WWE ring.

Sting would be a great addition, but he has to come in with his black and white and his Metallica intro. If they bring him in who do you guys think he'll be pitted against?

Sting vs The Rock

it would be cool if Sting were to help out Goldberg after The Rock cheats to win at backlash...then Sting and Goldberg would be on good terms and a Sting vs The Rock feud could ensue
