What parks has everyone been to?

I myself have only been to Fenway Park. It is an outstanding park, historical, it's a great place to be. Anyone who has a chance to go there i recommend you do. The atomsphere is great.

Damn, home opener, we had Ray Charles here for opening ceremonies, and we get rained out. Day/Night double header tomorrow.

Boston is a great city...but the thing that sucks is the seating sucks.

Yeah and we can't get a home opener off because of the stupid weather.

Camden Yards is the only pro park I've ever been to, and it's awesome.

I have been to the Skydome in Toronto many times, which is different, but an enjoyable place. The food is pretty bad, so anyone that is making the trip, eat before entering the game. I have also been to Coors field in Colordo, a great park. A neat feature was a row of purple seats (all the rest are green) in the upper deck which is a mile above see level. Out of the two parks, Colorado seems more like baseball, but Toronto seems more high tech. Both intresting ball parks.

Me too, however I don't find the food that bad. I've probably been there at least 50 times, sometimes staying overnight.

Also, been to Three Rivers, Tropicana and Pro Player (though not for a game).

I love Skydome, very nice position in the city, right across from the ACC. Parking was terrible for me the last time I was there, and it cost $40 Canadian!

I really love Dunn Tire park. It would be nice to see more games there, but I never seem to get down there enough.

Jacobs Field and Three Rivers are the only other parks I've been to. Jacobs is nice, Three Rivers... not so nice.

I usually park somewhere different each time at the Skydome, the last time I went I parked in an underground ramp for $20 Canadian. It seemed I walked forever to get to the Stadium, yet we were right across the street. Anyway, I think it is were the players park because there was a lot of expensive cars with plates from all over the US in the special reserved spot. The worst was a bus trip I took up years ago when the games were always sold out. I swear the Cows along the side of the QEW were walking faster then the bus was going.

Dunn Tire Park is great, well except for the name. Not a bad place to sit, cheap tickets, and lots of good food and beer to drink. It will be intresting to see what it is like once the bleachers come out and the mound of dirt and party deck are added. I will be a the Bisons game Saturday afternoon.

Rochester also has a great minor league ballpark. The food is the best, the sightlines are great, everything about it is awesome. I have been there more for Rhinos and Rattlers games then Red Wings games, but it is great. I may make the trip down Thursday night if the weather is good, because the Bisons play the Wings.

And to show I attend like baseball too much, and I have no life, I have been to Dwyer Stadium in Batavia for Clippers/Muckdogs games. That would be NY-Penn short season single A for those of you who are going, "what are the Batavia Muckdogs?". Nothing special, just a bunch of bleachers and a few stands to pick up a hot dog or a Muckdogs hat (I got one).

I’ve been to

the Vet in Philly - dump
Shea Stadium -dump
Camden Yards –great ballpark, truly a beauty
Coor Field – great but not quite Camden
The Trop in Tampa – dump

And the best of them all, Yankee Stadium. She’s old and worn out a bit but you can feel the history

I was born in Batavia Snarf and have been to more Trojens/Clippers/Muckdog games than I can count. (well, only one Muckdog game, I moved before they renamed the club)

I wish i lived in florida then i could go see any baseball team i wanted because tickets are always available. (Marlins/Devil Rays). Here in boston it's tough to get seats. A friend of mine got some of the Green monster seats and we might go. Depends if his girlfriend goes on nor. SHE BETTER NOT!

If I could have season tickets to any stadium in the Majors I think I'd get them in San Fran at Pac Bell, or maybe in Seattle at Safeco.

Yankee Stadium - Awesome, in the literal sense of the word
Fenway - A true ballpark
Skydome - High tech, but I like it
Tropicana Field - pretty good for a dome
Shea - Better than I thought it would be, but my expectations were low

Exibition Stadium - Don't sit in the bleachers for baseball!
Cleveland Stadium - Like a mausileum
Astrodome - a real novelty when I went (a long time ago)

Dunn Tire Park - great place to watch a game if its warm
Frontier Field - same as above

War Memorial - looked a lot better in the movie than it was!

I have only been to one ballpark in recent years even I have lost total respect for the MLB level of play.

Last year I attended a game at Miller Park in Millwuakee, that is the greatest baseball stadium ever!!! *****

I've been to Yankee Stadium, two words: Fire Hazard *

I've been to Shea, a total dump *

I've been to Busch Stadium, before they turned it to a decent looking ball park.**

Rochester has a great facility for the Red Wings, I attended a game there a few years back.*****

Could you tell me a little about Miller Park, Frankie?

Its has a retractable roof. You have room to walk without tripping over people, it smells like a ballpark. It is in a clean area that is easily accessable to the highway. The lines to buy a beer, hotdog or merchandise is short (3 people max) even with the stadium over half filled to capacity. It is fan friendly with ushers at each section who will gladly show you to your seat. The Sausage Race is a blast at the 7th inning stretch.

Note: We got 3rd row seats behind the visitors dugout for $25 each from a scalper. Each seat is $50. Poor guy was losing money. With the ticket we got into the clubhouse.

Just though I'd add this to bash baseball. While the game was going, on the clubhouse had the opener of the Wisconson Badgers football season game on the TV's. No one cared for the baseball game. All eyes were on the football. LOL!!! More people were wearing football gear then baseball gear.

My brother bought an old Brewers style hat. I bought Mardi Gras style of beads in the Brewers colors.
