He became a born again christian and decided to tour church with Ted DiBiase. Vince McMahon has tried to sign him but he wont work for WWE.

Sting's last WCW match was the last WCW match, a main event challange at the last ever Nitro against Ric Flair. He is now the AWA World Champion.

I know in the beginning he said he didnt like the porno crap that was on WWE TV,but he has had talks with McMahon in recent months. The big thing isnt just the money, but how many work dates he would have - the same with Goldberg. He wants a lighter schedule. He has never flat out said he is retired,so imv, there is still some hope.

REALLY I did not here about that how did he die. Last I heard he was running his own family oriented Indy promotion. And Sting had done a special apperance for him.

Maybe you're confusing Ted DiBiase with "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig.

no im not. I know that Mr. Perfect passed away. But i could have swore that he passed away after Rick Ruud passed away. I guess im wrong.
Man Sorry Mr. DiBiase.

I met Curt Henning & Big bossman once. Curt was a nice guy, but bossman seemed a bit moody. Anyway, I wish the stinger would come back and wrestle for the wwe. Fueds with the rock and hhh would be great.

Ted Dibiase is a member of the same fraternity as I am. I know for a fact he was alive 18 months ago. When do you think he died?

i keep hearing that Sting is talking with the WWE but unfortunetly I cannot comfirm this. right now he wrestles for the WWA they occasionally have PPV events he is thier World Champion, last I heard is that they would have a joint PPV with NWA-TNA and he would drop his belt to Jeff Jarrett then come to the WWE.

The WWE is going to go with Raw brand and Smackdown brand only PPVs, so WWE wants to sign Sting in time for the Raw PPV badd blood.
I don't know if they'll get that done in time, but he'll be signed in time to build up a program for SummerSlam.
Goldberg has really been working on Sting to sign, so expect it this summer.

I think it is only a matter of time for sting to be with WWE.
