I hope they don't make the playoffs.

Derek Jeter is a wimp if you're hurt get up don't lay there like you're dying for 10 min. It's a shoulder injury you can walk.

Too bad for you, because the Yanks' are the class of the American league. They've got more pitching depth than an all-star team. And if they need a hole filled by midseason, they will buy a new player.

Pop yours out some afternoon Player, it's hard to do much of anything.

Combine that with the trainers telling you not to move and I think he gets a pass on this.

Pitching depth?? Sure they got 4 great starters, but beyond that there is no one.

5 great starters...

And how many other teams in the American league have even two great starters, or one even? I'd take Jeff Weaver as my 5th starter any day behind the likes of Mussina, Pettite, Wells, and Clemens. They even have Sterling Hitchcock, who is at least above average.

And the pen is still strong in Yankee land. Contreras will be a star, Rivera is still the top closer in the AL when healthy, Hammond is solid, as is Acevedo. Osuna is no one to write home about, but isn't nearly as inexperienced as many of the guys in Boston or Baltimore's pen this season.

No team, not even my Braves can match Yankee pitiching depth this season.

Yankees have plenty of depth they have plenty of money, they wont be in any problem.

Not even with ex-Bisons arch-nemesis Ray King??

It was nice to see Matsui hit a grand slam in his first game at Yankee stadium. A big time left handed power guy in the middle of that lineup really goes well with Bernie, Giambi and Jeter when he's healthy. Very scarry prospect for the rest of the AL, though.

I just want the Yanks and Red Sox to lose. I don't care who wins but both those teams have to lose. I hate baseball because there is no parody and every year Yankees buy a championship

Moose now has 6 wins in his first 6 starts. This guy looks to have the best season of his career. I saw him pitch yesterday, he looked like he did 5 years ago again. The Yanks rotation is scary deep, and Moose is the ace.
