I'm not a very big wrestling fan, I admit, and I don't watch much these days, but I used to love watching the British Bulldogs in the hey day of WrestleMania!

5. Edge and Christian
6. The Hart Foundation
7. The Stiener Brothers
8. Demolition

Have to go with Demolition. When their music, "Here comes the Ax, and here comes the Smash, out to destroy you Demolition," hit I got up. The WWE never took full advantage of what they had. Both LOD, and Demolition were in their primes on WWE rosters, but they never had a big fued. Too bad though, it would have been great to see the 2 greatest tag teams mix it up in a long fued.

i thought their theme went "here comes the ax, here comes the smasher, we're demolition, walking disaster. making destruction, is our middle name". and i agree they were my fave tag growing up. but i give credit to the hardy boyz and thier awesome ladder matches. my fave match of all time was TLC #1. screw shawn michaels, the hardyz made ladders famous

As a owner of about 1000 wrestling videos (no kidding) and a huge fan of the tag team division of the late 1980s-Early 1990s, I have to go with Demolition as the greatest tag team in wrestling history. The reason being is the fact that they were the first team in WWE history to "3 peat" as Tag Team Champions, and it was done during a time where you didn't see repeat champions like you do today. At the time that Demolition won it's 3rd Tag Title (At WrestleMania 6), Hulk Hogan had only held the World Title for the Second time, while Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and the like were merely mid-carders.
BTW, just to answer the Demolition theme question... The lyrics are:
"Here comes the Ax... Here comes the Smasher, the Demolition, walking disaster... Pain and destruction is our middle name"
I know this because I have the song burned to a CD :)

Greatest tag team has to be
ROCK AND SOCK.
Just Playin. The best team is probably Demoltion. Thoses guys were sweet. I was thinking earlyer that now if you look at the WWE roster there is no one that really has face paint. I always thought of face paint when i thought of wrestling. I mean 2 of the greatest wrestlers had it.
Sting, and Ultimat warrior
and for tag teams Demolition and LOD had face paint
another great tag team that no one has said was Marty Jennety and Shawn Micheals (totally killed the spelling on their names)
i forget there tag team name.

Wow, a wrestling board! I know where I'll be spending most of my time. lol
It's gotta be The British Bulldogs, Dynamite Kid Tom Billington was the most underrated wrestler of all time. The popular moves you see now, he was doing in Japan in the 80s. It's too bad he's in a wheelchair now.
For the highspots, I'd go with Sabu and RVD, since they were both trained by Sabu's uncle, The Original Shiek, and worked out together, they had sweet chemistry.

Balls Mahoney and Spike Dudley was another great ECW tag team. Niether were very gifted athletically, but both could take a serious beating.

I still got the Bulldogs 1st, but I just remembered another team that should be mentioned as one of the tops, Bret "The Hitman" Hart, Jim "The Anvil" Niedhart, The Hart Foundation, managed by Jimmy Hart. I used to love their finisher, the Hart Attack.
I was also a fan of The Rockers, when they were in the AWA and known as The Midnight Rockers. Their theme song was some heavy metal song. I don't know anything about heavy metal, I'm a hip hopper lol, but does anyone know who sang it? It had words like rockin after midnight, partyin' until dawn.

All these teams mentioned are pretty good. Demolition probably had the most success. Hart Foundation were great as well, mostly due to Bret Hart. British Bulldogs up there as well. Does anyone remember the "Dream Team," Brutus Beefcake and Greg "The Hammer" Valentine? The great Jimmy Valiant managed them. Their Wrestlemania 2 match with the British Bulldogs was the first tag team title for the Bulldogs in the WWF.

As far as LOD, they were much better as the Road Warriors in WCW. They were still good in the WWF, but they just seemed to lose something after they left WCW and became LOD.

i completly forgot about the outsiders. They were one of the best teams ever. They worked great in the ring. I remember in WCW when Nash and Hall had to have a match with stripers. that was great.

You're going way back Saburzfan. Another team that popped in my head is the Midnight Express. There were a number of versions of them, I think, but I remember they were always a consistently good team. Their feud with the Rock N' Roll Express is one of the classic feuds.

The Hart Foundation
The Road Warriors
The British Bulldogs

anyone who only knows of Austin with the shaved head needs to get some older WCW footage of Austin with the long blonde hair. Austin was also perhaps the best Television Champion in WCW's history. Although I think some Arn Anderson fans would debate that.

I forgot abou the Hollywood Blondes, too bad they weren't a team for longer. BTW Buffalo Juan, that was a nice entrance song, I got it in a CD somewhere.
Hey gmnj, do you remember when Austin was in World Class, and he had the really long blond hair with the floral print trunks?lol
He used to tag with the California Stud and they were managed by Austin's ex wife Jeannie.

No. I never knew too much about World Class. I do remember his ex-wife, I think it was his ex-wife, managed him in WCW for awhile.

Rememeber when they beat Barry Windam and Mike Rotunda, the USA Express, for the belts. Wasn't that the first Wrestlemania? They used a cigar or something I think. They were a good team, sheik and volkoff, really disliked.
