Injured again over the weekend, he will miss at least 6 weeks, maybe 10. He may need season ending surgury, after dislocating his shoulder on a dive out in center.

The question is: Is this the biggest fall from greatness in sports history? At one time, Jr. was considered to be the next great Baseball hero, possibly the best center fielder in history. Now he is a shadow of his former great self, perhaps never to play another full season.

I really hate to see this happen, Jr. was always one of my favorite players.

considering how spring training went for him i thought junior was ready to return to all star form. this latest set back has got to be tough for him. junior may need a change of scenery soon just to change his kharma.

I really hope he can escape Cincy after he gets healthy again. Going back to the American League would give him a chance to do a bit of DH'ing instead of always playing in the field. A team like the Angels, White Sox, or even the Mariners could really beneifit from his bat, although he comes at a high cost, which rules out good teams like Oakland and the Twins.
