^ It seems so many of us in the country say that every season, but the damn Yanks' always find a way to buy their entrance into the postseason. I have them reaching the World Series this year, and then losing to the Astros.

I don't agree with you there. I see St. Louis making it to the big dance even with the pitching struggles. Although i'd like to see Atlanta go because i been a Braves fan just as long as i've been a sox fan.

^Could be, but I like the young pitching corps they have down in Houston, and who can argue with Bagwell, Kent and Berkman in your middle of the order? St. Louis will be tough, and they've proven that they can win and win consistenly, something this Houston ballclub has to learn still. It should be a tight race, I see St. Louis getting the NL wild card and Hoston taking the division.

I think it is kinda funny that no one is giving the Angels a chance to repeat, and I don't mean just on this board. I have read many places where they have "caught lightning in a bottle" last season. The Angels still have the same team that won the World Series and I don't see them going away. They are solid at every position, have a good, not great starting rotation, and a great bullpen. When it is all said and done I think the Angels will be still be on top. The Red Sox have a questionable bullpen, the Yankess starting pitchers are a million years old, the A's fall apart in the playoffs, and the Twins only will win the Central because the rest of the division sucks. Don't write the Angels off just yet, and they got the power of the Rally Monkey.

I hate that god damn rally monkey. It get's more credit for winning the world series then the team does. If i ever seen that rally monkey i would just................:thwak:

I loved the ralley monkey! Anything that gets the fans into the game more, especially in a place like Anahiem where interest in the Angels was down, it helps to have a fun thing like this. And look what happened, they won it all!

And it's all thanks to the monkey!
