The Defense is Solid where it is at now! When you think about it we have qaulity backups because the players that were starters will be backing up the free agents we brought in and remember how good of a season Spoon had last year before he got hurt! So that's more depth at LB, and overall all our Defense starting playing alot better toward the end of the season!
I believe we need to focus on replacing price and a back up for Henry! Price was a BIG playmaker on offence and believe it or not our offense struggle the last half of the season (Green Bay, K.C, New England) If we Win two of those games we would of been in the Playoffs.
That's why in the Draft we should address some PLAYMAKERS WITH SPEED!!
Kelly Washington (WR)
Justin Fargas (RB)

I love Washingtons size and potential. But that back injury scares me away too much. Anyone have details on it? Or if it could be career threatning? If he never had that injury, he would be first on my list. Of course, he'd probably go before we picked too.

The offense struggled because Gilbride was too predictable and didn't use the TE's, abandoned the run, etc. I swear I think the Bills Offense did well inspite of Gilbride, not because of him.

Gilbride was definately an asset to that offense last year. He brought stabilitity to our O-Cord. spot. But I do agree with you in the fact that he had some Questionable play calls. Passing the ball when we should just pound it and get the 1st down.

As for drafting guys with speed - I'm all for it. Great speed doesn't always equate to great football player, but I'll take those odds.
Washington is the Stallworth of last year. I've seen some mock drafts that have us taking this Lloyd guy from Illinois in the 2nd. Anyone know anything about him - I've never really paid any attention. Was he Kittners main threat last year?

Mel Kiper on his page has a tidbit on a guy from a division 2 school called Perrysburg. I guess hes a monstrous pass rushing d-lineman who is quick as hell for his size. His name is Tim Short. He goes 6"3 350 runs the 40 in 4.8 - 4.85 and can play both end and tackle. Mel said he bats a lot of balls down at the line because of a very good vertical as well. Sees him either going last 2 rounds or being a hot commodity as a free agent. Sounds like hes worth a shot to me what do u think?

music city....
I heard Tim Short (TSlim) went to KFC and was playin video games a little too much and beefed up to around 4 bills, so he better hit they weight room if he wants to get drafted.

yea, i heard of that guy, i heard that he hits the bottle hard, and that if nfl prospects talk to him, which im sure they will, that his contract would have to be incentive laden with restrictions of all the boos

Besides the injury problem with Washington, he has an attitude problem. PFW says, "has an ego the size of the empire state building and could be a team cancer" I prefer Taylor Jacobs if the Bills go WR in the first. 4.37 speed and good hands, decent size, good character.

yeah, Washington has a bad 'tude.... I thought we already addressed this issue awhile ago.

Moulds had the attitude problem as well coming out of college - I think that turned out OK.

I like Washington, but we have to draft some defensive players preferebly with toughness. An offensive lineman is the late rounds could be a steal too.

I think we can get a quality wide receiver in the 2nd round.....

but I did read some stuff this morning that I found interesting.....the bills might also be looking at corey redding....

If they took a WR first there is a good chance that Corey Redding would be around for them in the 2nd.......

Tyrone Callico has really impressed me lately. Arnaz Battle as well.

that WR is a fairly deep position, along with DL. I recieved my Ourlads scouting service 2003 edition and I'd say DB's and OL's are pretty sound throughout this draft, too. LB is the pits if you're looking for starters. Very limited, so get them early!!!!
